Yesterday I did my first running competition :) I think it went rather well :) I did ~5.5 km in 28'43". and I hoped to do in 35' considering the uphill run which I hadn't done before..
the kids at the finish line told me I was the 107th out of 195 participants and I'm told of 107 people not many were women :) Tomorrow they'll announce the exact results.
I started to run in February and I have been training almost regularly (minus the period with my dislocated arm and healing).. Now I'm addicted to it!
next goal is a 10 km run.. perhaps by this winter I'll be able to do it..
Update:
my official score is 28'40"
174 participants, 44 female, 13th place in the women's category, 105th place overall :)
