Since the idea of the EPM-1 is to travel extremely light, I wanted to see if mine could make a passable handheld HDR. I guess it can. It cranks out a respectable FPS because there is no inertia from a moving mirror assembly to overcome. And it can be set to bracket up to 7 frames in a variety of different ev steps.
So if you want to annoy your friends with HDR, this little guy can help you accomplish that.
Still, if I am shooting in anger, I'll be there with a tripod and a cable release.

Euro Bus Expo 2022 took place in Hall 5 of the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham on 1-3 November. Around 80 vehicles were on display including stands from ADL, BASE, Camira Print, Equipmake, Eversum, Harris, Ilesbus, Irizar, Mellor, Omnibus EPM, Pelican Yutong, RGI Bus & Coach, Switch, Temsa, Van Hool and Volvo to name but a few.
How annoying ! I go out to ride on and photograph some of the gems from the Hulley's fleet, and a plain white Dom II turns up - at least it was an AEC Reliance. This was one of a pair that had arrived only a few weeks earlier from the nearby Kirkby dealership, their spell with London Country having come to an end. In due course, it received 'Lincman' livery for the Lincoln to Manchester express service, so it will do for a 'before and after' comparison.

It's my tradition to always post the very first shot from a new camera or lens no matter how bad. I have done this ever since I came to Flickr.
This is from my new E-PM1 Pen camera from Olympus. Olympus graciously provided the camera to me free of charge, and it's mine to keep, which I will mention several times when it comes time to actually review the thing, so it's clear to everyone that I was given something for nothing. I doubt it will color my opinions though.
I just opened it tonight, and as it was dark I stuck my FL-50 flash on the camera for this first shot. The camera comes with its own tiny detachable flash which I will be brave enough to test later.
You can't tell a lot from this first shot but I may not have a chance to test it in daylight for a while.
I will say it's a cute camera, very well made, with a sensor that is supposedly better than the one in my main shooter. There is no optical viewfinder so you have to hold the camera in front of you like a dead fish to take a picture, but I hope to get used to that.
I'll go into more detail when I can. I look forward to getting it out into the desert and using it in some sweet light.
