Las posibilidades fotográficas que puede ofrecer un macho de Chalcolestes viridis son distintas y variadas.
En esta pose, al enfocarlo, además de cabeza y tórax, mi atención se centró en su esbelto abdomen, en esos tonos cobrizos de la cara dorsal y al azul que presenta la cara ventral y la unión de los primeros segmentos.
Por cierto, en S4 lleva un golpe que me pasó inadvertido mientras lo fotografiaba.

The photographic possibilities that a male of Chalcolestes viridis can offer are different and varied.
In this pose, when focusing it, in addition to the head and thorax, my attention was focused on his slender abdomen, on those coppery tones of the dorsal face and the blue that presents the ventral face and the union of the first segments.
By the way, in S4 it carries a blow that went unnoticed while I was photographing it.

Los caracteres morfológicos por los que podemos diferenciar a este Onychogomphus de forcipatus y uncatus, esencialmente y a la vista, son:
El tórax es de tonos más verdosos, el abdomen más pálido y el apéndice inferior amarillo.
En el tórax, en la banda negra inferior, podemos apreciar dos dibujos amarillos, algo que parece un siete y en la parte inferior, algo que asemeja a una gaviota en vuelo.
The morphological characters by which we can differentiate this Onychogomphus from forcipatus and uncatus, essentially and in sight, are:
The thorax is more greenish in color, the abdomen is paler and the lower appendix is yellow.
On the thorax, in the lower black band, we can see two yellow drawings, something that looks like a seven and in the lower part, something that resembles a seagull in flight.
En las charcas donde están es fácil ver a los machos, ellas se dejan ver menos pero cuando se muestran, a poco que tengas la vista entrenada te das cuenta que es ella por su cuerpo más robusto. Su belleza me parece incontestable.

También un apareamiento de O. brunneum hace que me tire al suelo porque esta especie, normalmente, lo suele hacer así.
No es muy prolongada la cópula y si no es por el azul del macho no se le ve.

Also a mating of O. brunneum makes me throw myself to the ground because this species usually does it this way.
The copulation is not very long and if it is not for the blue of the male it is not seen.

Después de la Roja nos fuimos a la Puça y había poca actividad pero este macho de Sympetrum striolatum nos obsequió con unos posados cerca de una charca.
Después nos homenajeamos nosotros con una paella de conejo y caracoles típica de la zona.
¡¡Que no va a ser todo trabajar!!

After La Roja we went to La Puça and there was little activity but this male of Sympetrum striolatum gave us some perches near a pond.
Then we pay homage to ourselves with a rabbit and snail paella typical of the area.
That it will not be all work !!

Esa deformación evidente, hacía a este macho adulto de Orthetrum brunneum, muy visible allí donde estuviera.
No se movía de un espacio de 20 metros cuadrados y parece claro que no debía estar capacitado para aparearse.

This evident deformation made this adult male of Orthetrum brunneum very visible wherever he was.

Para el fotógrafo son momentos inolvidables presenciar la emergencia de un odonato, en este caso un macho de Libellula depressa. Para el odonato es un momento difícil por los peligros que entraña, el posible viento, un depredador, etc

Auf der Meterspurstrecke zwischen Jablonec nad Nisou und Liberec sind am 16.12.2016 die Triebwagen 21 und 23 unterwegs.
Ese día estaba algo nublado y aproveché ese filtro natural para fotografiarlo. Me tiene que acompañar la luz, para que la foto me guste ya que busco texturas en su cuerpo y este "escarlata" es complicado.
