Keyboards are cropping up more in my shots of late. I always shoot in the small space in front of my computer, so rather than move it out of the way I’m using it more as a prop!
I’ve had these tiny figures for years, we bought them for a school project for our son and recently rediscovered them!
A masterpiece released on this day in 1990, 35 years ago

"Words like violence
Break the silence
Come crashing in
Into my little world
Painful to me
Pierce right through me
Can't you understand?
Oh, my little girl
All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm
Vows are spoken
To be broken
Feelings are intense
Words are trivial
Pleasures remain
So does the pain
Words are meaningless
And forgettable..."

The Long Walk, Windsor
The rising sun having burnt off the low lying mist filters thought the regimented trees creating shadow lines across the Long Walk. An early riser out for a morning walk enjoys the silence.
When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone,
when you're sure you've had enough of this life, well hang on.
Don't let yourself go, everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes.

Enjoy The Silence in the courtyard ...

And have a nice Weekend.
I always wanted to name a photo "Enjoy The Silence" after my favourite Depeche Mode song and what better place and time than this photo at appropriately named Playa del Silencio in Asturias, Spain, where we enjoyed a beautiful sunset with nice soft light and magenta skies.
More about this photo on my Blog and Facebook page.
When life is slowing down after a crazy year. Time to take a break from city life out in nature near my parents' house. Enjoying the silence.

a nice Wednesday , listen the :
Little boxes on the hillside
Little boxes made of ticky-tacky
Little boxes on the hillside
Little boxes all the same
There's a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one
And they're all made out of ticky-tacky
And they all look just the same
And the people in the houses
All went to the university
Where they were put in boxes
And they came out all the same
And there's doctors and lawyers
And business executives
And they're all made out of ticky-tacky
And they all look just the same
And they all play on the golf course
And drink their martinis dry
And they all have pretty children
And the children go to school
And the children go to summer camp
And then to the university
Where they are put in boxes
And they come out all the same...........

Mural "Enjoy the Silence" by 'Etam Crew' (Mateusz Gapski "Bezt", Przemek Blejzyk "Sainer") and Robert Proch.
This 700 m² work is a collision of two forms: a static figure of a man and a still life lying on a table (by 'Etam Crew'), and a dynamic image of a dog (by Robert Proch). Łódź, Poland.
