This is a sneak peak of a larger set to come! The model is my bestfriend since our freshmen year in highschool, Jackie. We've been through the highest highs and terrible lows together, and the series is about how we wander through life side by side. I was inspired by the poem by J.R.R. Tolkien from the Lord of the Rings, and wanted to create a series of photos that personified it.
The trees are not digitally manipulated, they are actually blue! It's a part of an outdoor art installation in my hometown, Houston<3
this is unmanipulated except for the toning this was late in the day on a very hazy day I love the silhouettes.
This shot was taken when I was walking in the terrace with a very special friend of mine. She was also trying to capture a few shots and she got some really good ones. The sun was going down and the perfect light was there for me to capture the moment and I did so without any hesitation.
