The King makes an appearance at the weekly car show at the Shell Factory in North Fort Myers, Florida.
Mural of Elvis Presley in Chatt.,Tn. Some of the words to "And I Love You So" are written on the wall. This wall is gone now,but I am glad that I took the photo. The mural was part of an art project that encouraged local artists to express themselves before the walls and building on the street were torn down to make room for a new office complex.

The Lord can give, and the Lord can take away. I might be herding sheep next year. ~Elvis Presley
This chapel is located at the base of the Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction, Arizona. It’s such an iconic western scene filled with saguaros and dust. I arrived a bit too late to get inside the chapel area so that’ll be another excuse to visit in the near future.
Lens is not the Laowa… still can’t figure that out in settings…

Pluckin’ those midsummer blues, mirages, and blue suede shoes… spines, ribs, shooting some b-roll, in a saguaro keyhole. 🌵🎸🌵
It hit 115 F yesterday and today it cooked a bit cooler at 111 F. The shade of a saguaro drops it again by about ten degrees or so…
I think it’s time to do some more indoor shoots!

Only those who fave the image could see Elvis dance on the black top of these luminous cubes. Happy Days to all!

Graceland
Memphis, TN
05-31-25
From the Biography website:
"Graceland was 10,266 square feet at the time of Presley’s purchase. But thanks to a number of home improvements, that number rose to more than 17,000 square feet.
The mansion’s famous gates adorned with musical notes were added in 1957. Elvis also had a kidney-shaped swimming pool installed later that year."
The estate was called Graceland before Elvis bought it, named for a relative of the Toof family, who previously owned the property.
As part of the VIP tour, I was allowed in through a side entrance and could wander around at my leisure. (The second floor including bedrooms are off limits.) Here you see a few guests on the porch waiting to be granted access. Across the street out of view is the line of guests, which totaled about 30 even at 9:30am in the morning right after Graceland opened. The property has been a museum since 1982 when it cost $5.00. Now it's around $50.00. I paid about $150.00 for the self guided VIP tour, and another VIP tour costs $250.00 including a personal guide and a dinner on the premises.

I am still finding things as I archive my work. Back in 1980 I did a series of caricatures of People Magazine covers to specifically show them to get work. The art director loved them and I did get some great jobs for them. A great magazine to work for.
My thanks to Blaise Arnold for the use of his image. He has allowed me to make some changes. Please visit his wonderful Flickr site at:

Elvis Presley's statue at the Holey Moley Golf Club. It was standing in front of a brown toilet bowl. Whatever that means.

N777EP - Lockheed L-1329 JetStar 6 - Elvis Presley
at Graceland/Memphis/TN
c/n 5004 - built in 1960
Elvis Presley purchased this Lockheed JetStar aircraft for $899,702.60 on September 2, 1975 while he was awaiting delivery of CV-880 "Lisa Marie". The nickname for the JetStar was "named Hound Dog II"
This JetStar was primarily used for taking Elvis’ manager and his staff from city to city on his concert tours.
Similar to the CV-880 the JetStar was sold by the family after the death of Elvis, but later was bought back and put on display at Graceland, Memphis Tennessee.
