AMUN DUIN is a fictive Elven realm, inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien's incredibly beautiful saga Lord Of The Rings. It is situated in Middle Earth, more precisely in Lindon, the Elvish region between the Ered Luin (Blue Mountains) and Belegaer, the western sea. From its harbor ships embark into the West, to Aman (Quenya: "The blessed realm"), the continent where Valinor lies, the "Undying Lands" of the Elves.

Sure, the dragonfly ornithopter from Dune is great and all... but I prefer my ornithopters to be steampunk and have a little more elvish flair...
For Brickworld Chicago 2024, I will be displaying a new steampunk layout that I have been working on over the past few months. It will be based mainly around this build; the Dragonfly Ornithopter. The premise is a "fantasy" take on steampunk, asking the question "What if elves created steampunk machines?" My thought is that they would take their design cues from their natural surroundings.
I have built an elevated landing pad / outpost for this build, but to see that you will need to come to Brickworld Chicago 2024. Hope to see many of you there next week.

We will go on with the Rotterdam series later, they don't walk away and fall goes by so fast.
There are so many uploads of autumn leaves and colours, it's almost impossable to count them.
So we take a different approach here, against the light and so dreamy. I've looked on tv at the movie the Hobbit, and I was thinking about an elvish style, may the blessings of Galadriel be with you always!

Innate Spellcasting. The frost sprite's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 10, +2 to hit with spell attacks). It can cast the following spells, requiring no material components:

Heart Sight. The sprite touches a creature and magically knows the creature's current emotional state. Frost Sprites, also known as snow fairies, winter folk, or simply, "frosts," are fey sprites that accompany snowfall, in the arctic, and in the forests of winter. Frosts are tiny, elfin creatures with whirling beelike wings. They have skin in various shades of darker to lighter blue, with white or silvery hair, blue or green eyes, and clothing in various shades of white, gray, black, blue, and green.
