A life guard stand is still “Standing” after surviving a hurricane, a series of Nor’easter storms and then the remnants of still another hurricane !
This stand was moved several times by the Life guards but the storms brought it to this precarious position of nearly crashing into this jetty.

When I was recently visiting my parents I took a look at a watercolor painting that my Dad has hanging above the chair he sits in when he's reading.
It's one that I painted when I was something like 12 years old. I think it was the second watercolor painting I attempted. The first one, as I remember was sent to my Grandmother in Minnesota, and she had it framed and hung it in her living room.
I thought, "Hmm, that ain't too bad, maybe I can sneak it into my Flickr Photostream."

.. as for myself, i was making this photograph, and i've been enchanted by it ever since :)
This image has been remastered, when i first posted it i was going through a 'square' image period, i like to think that i have progressed somewhat since then.
Back in 2008 the Flickr quality of image wasn't too bad .. but it wasn't too good either :l
Since that day the Flickr image quality has vastly progressed,
kudos to the Flickr Admin. who were behind the progress.
