This memorial is to the 11 American Express employees who died in the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. The quartz in the center represents a large tear, and drops of water fall randomly from the ceiling. Families of those who died were asked to write some brief words to describe their loved ones. These words were used in the memorial.
