With service reductions at Q garage two MMC's (EH116 & 117) have been transferred, with more expected to follow, so the early E's at MB are under threat (E77 has already succumbed).
E96s last working at MB was on the 126 on 24th August 2022. Transferred in September 2022 to Go-North East as fleet number 6950 entering service on 10th September 2022.

E96 soldiered on at MB until 24th August 2022 and its last working was on the normally single deck route 126. It then transferred to Go-North East as their 6950 entering service on 10th September 2022.
Last night it was announced that there was a shortage of tanker drivers to deliver fuel to garages and so ensuing panic set in as many motorists scrambled to fill up their vehicles. So wherever a bus route passed a service station some were heavily delayed by vehicles blocking roads waiting to enter garage forecourts. Caught up in this, Go-Ahead Metrobus E96 LX08 EBV failed to get to Catford on its previous northbound working on the 320 so it turned short at Downham Way, Bromley Road. The return run to Biggin Hill Valley is seen here in High Street, Bromley. Friday 24th September 2021. DSCN51986.

The Anna 12 is moving a number of Fal cars in use for the transport of coke (fuel) from the EBV-cokery in Alsdorf. As long as the cokery was producing coke at the Anna site in Alsdorf, the EBV used steam engines to move the coal hoppers around on the yard of Alsdorf. Due to the use of the steam engines Alsdorf was popular site for steam fans.
The crew operates the train obviously pretty relaxed.

Summerhill based KD314 operates on route 41C to Rivervalley through Dublin Airport on 8th July 1989. The add carried is for "In Dublin" magazine, and featured that well known street vendor who used to sell it on Grafton Street.
The two 747's in the background belong to Australian national airline, Qantas. In 1989 their 747-300's were a very common sight in Dublin. Team Aer Lingus as they were known had the line maintaince contract on the six 747-300,s. At that time they were operated Sydney-Singapore-London-Manchester on the QF009 or QF011. The Manchester leg was thrice weekly, and Qantas flew them on to Dublin, and took away the previous one as the QF009P. Some weeks up to three came in. The one facing the same direction as KD314 is VH-EBV "City of Geraldton"

Long after steam had finished on West German national railways this was Krupp 0-8-0T, built 1937, drawing a load of hoppers past the coke ovens at EBV Grube Anna, Alsdorf. Considering it was June the weather could have been a little kinder but I guess it all adds to the atmosphere of the place.
