Mad Men 1985-1996. If DonDraper had a home office in the late 80s to mid 90s, this would be it.
He’d use QuarkXpress on an Apple Powerbook to review his ads. He’d use a Braun Dieter Rams calculator.
The desk setup would have to be swanky like the George Nelson Swag, Tolomeo Lamp, and Eames Aluminum Group Softpad Task Chair. His camera would be a Leica and he’d wear Swiss timepieces like a Speedmaster Pro or GMTMaster.
With the exception of the Mac Powerbook, these are all vintage, iconic designs. Some as old as 60 years old.

Steam engines large and small require a certain amount of tinkering to keep them running sweetly, and no doubt this is part of their charm. The big Fowler road roller was built in Leeds in 1929, and exported to Portugal, where it worked in the Lisbon area for many years. It was returned to the UK in 1981. The engine is a 2-cylinder compound of 5 nominal horsepower. I can't say much about the provenance of "Buster", but it does appear to be getting some expert attention. Both were seen at a rally in Derbyshire in the summer of 2013.
