Auf der landschaftlich ansprechenden Güterumgehungsbahn von Stuttgart, liebevoll auch "Schusterbahn" genannt, waren die sechsachsigen Kornwestheimer "Ur-Krokodile" der Reichsbahn-Baureihe E 93 (ab 1968: 193) stets zu Hause. Mit dem Nahgüterzug 64437 am Haken, verlässt 193 014 bei Stuttgart-Münster den Schnarrenberg-Tunnel.
Zu den gelungensten Lokomotiv-Konstruktionen der Deutschen Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft zählt die Baureihe E 93, die in Form der Weiterentwicklung zur E 94 über viele Jahrzehnte den schweren Güterzugdienst in Süd- und Mitteldeutschland prägte. Seit 1951 waren alle E 93 im Bw Kornwestheim versammelt; von dort aus zogen sie Güterzüge über alle elekrifizierten Strecken in Württemberg. Mit dem Dg 61809 aus Heilbronn hat 193 006 den Kirchheimer Tunnel im Verlauf der Frankenbahn passiert.
E93 07 und 141 366 standen am 18.06.2016 beim Sommerfest des DB Museums in Koblenz direkt nebeneinander und somit konnten sie ausgiebig abgelichtet werden.

Metrobus Croydon’s oldest remaining Enviro400, E93 (LX57CLY) pictured in Purley Cross at the end of a route 127 journey. Croydon still have three Enviro400’s from Route 405’s old allocation remaining, not sure how much time they have left.

A recent addition to Croydon's fleet is former Merton based Metrobus ADL Enviro400 E93 (LX57CLY), seen in Coulsdon on route 405. This bus transferred over to indirectly replace WS100 which has moved on loan to Orpington

New to London General - E93.
New to London General as their E93 during November 2007 Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 LX57CLY is now 6948 with Go North East and was pictured departing South Shields Interchange on a Metro Replacement Service 900 to Heworth Interchange on September 12th 2022. This was the first day of the 'Metro Flow' 12 week major line closure between Pelaw and South Shields. There are two Metro replacement services with the 900 serving all the stations and the X900 just stopping at Jarrow Interchange.
LSWR B4 class, built at Nine Elms to order B4 entering service numbered 93 ST MALO December 1892. Allocated to Southampton Docks April 1896. SR E93, later 93, after the 1923 grouping. Renumbered 30093 in 1950 and withdrawn April 1960.
