I didn't sleep well last night and up at 5 this am.....I heard that my brother has kidney stones....a lot of them. I don't know what to believe, he has been in and out of the hospital and rehab so much in the last couple of months, you'd think they would have found this out sooner!! I hope they can give him some relief now.
This started out as drips using Dylusions Ink Sprays. I just kept going over it, then took picture and processed the heck out of it in Paint Shop Pro (Flaming Pear Organic Edges and Boss Emboss).

gesso page, I smooshed paint from previous page (Dylusions) then cover with gesso again. Stamping with homemade carved stamps, added fluid acrylic and heavy body acrylic, Silks and yellow with credit card....going for straight lines for
Spray Ink Love lesson from Tam's class in LifeBook2014. Gotta say, I had a ton of fun with this one. Ten geek brownie points to anyone that knows the quote!

Dylusions Ink Spray - Fresh Lime
I love the water color effect this stamp gives. I used distress inks and sprayed with water before stamping. The sentiment is one of a set that I have used all the time. The Friends set is one of my all-time favorite sentiment sets and I think you could use "Have a Great Day" for most anything.
I was trying to get the HA flower info in and forgot to say I sprayed the edges.
My steampunk theme continues. I have read that the steampunk movement is not just the addition of gears and clocks the elements are supposed to have meaning and a fantasy aspect.
On a background card of modeling paste, Dylusions turquoise spray and glitter gel pen, I attached a polymer clay heart with gears and heart trinket hand worked copper wire leading to stamped ART backed by pieces of card with a crackle finish (glue method) and stickles. Edged with acrylic paint applied with a stencil brush.

backgrounds and cats I made a couple of weeks ago and left to finish for when I wasn't feeling like making anything (like today)
Backgrounds are dylusions inks over cut out magazine pages, diluted gesso, handmade cat template, neocolor edges, prismacolors pencils. (I just realized why the cat on the right has a crackle pattern: I used a brayer to spread matt medium over the cards, to protect the inks from messing up.....the brayer has a lot of texture from not cleaning it right away from other projects!!)
