Black-shouldered Kite (Elanus axillaris) male
Bronson was on sentry duty yesterday. From this perch he has a clear view of any approaching predators and can look down into the nest.
This little chap appeared to be on guard duty, though in truth was probably wondering where it's tea had got to.

I was totally excited when I saw the fog and the sun in the morning. I had planned for this. I got ready for work, skipped breakfast and went to out. The forest is on my way to my working place. I was hoping to find a path leading into the mist and into the sun. As you see I did not succeed because of the rapidly fading mist. I am happy anyway - what a start of the day.

……I walked up & down taking a few shots but she refused to look at me! Far more interesting things going on the Quarry (park) behind me - not that we could see anything!!! BTW, she lives in a nice house with fine views over the Quarry & the River (see 1st comment box), a quick grab shot on my phone for HFF - have a good one. Alan:-)…….

CBL 51 heads back to the shop after working the NS interchange briefly. I attempted to shoot them this day but interchange was the only activity they did, and they went home an hour after going on duty.
So many pictures to get through so here's a new approach.

Shyann, our Norwegian Elkhund enjoys mornings sitting at our bedroom window looking for any uninvited guests such as deer, turkeys or squirrels in the backyard. The bench she sits on is at the right height for her to just lay her head on the sill and watch.

Inside the abandoned hut high on the slopes above Glenshee as we descend from Carn Aosda and The Cairnwell, with bright Spring sunshine glowing in the far doorway.
This trip sees me bagging 2 more Munro's. Carn Aosda, my 22nd Munro, stands at 917 meters (3008 feet), while The Cairnwell, my 23rd Munro, stands at 933 meters (3061 feet). They do both stand at the heart of the Glenshee Ski Development, so may be not a pretty or remote as some other Munro's.
It is to hot to work The only thing I want to do is eat ice cream.
