Possibly the worlds most photographed tree, hated by photographers worldwide, yet it still appears in and wins major photography competitions.

I have shot here once before, but conditions didn't really present me with a decent shot so I wanted to get my own version of the famous Wanaka tree. What can I say, the tree was there, I was there......

If, like myself, you're not an hardcore adventurer / climber willing to connected every dots on the planet inventing paths / roads that don't exist no matter the lattitude, topography, or climate, you visit Doubtful Sound, New Zealand, in a cruise boat.

The boat explores the arms of the fjord using its engine.

It's loud.

But at one point, reaching the end of one of the arms, the quintessential pleasure reaches its peak when the captain stops everything. Everyone that makes a sound could be sentenced to go to bed without eating.

The time is stopping and the world multiplies itself.
