I think that rather disturbing body-shaped object to the left of the Olympian is in fact just a discarded duffle bag, or similar.
Dukinfield, Globe Lane, 01/05/2001.
"My name's Jack, I'm what you might call a specialist" I walked into the large warehouse and put my duffle bag down, right next to a small folding table. My associate we'll call "Cuddles" already ushered my financial backers to their seats at the table. "I really appreciate your dedication to our cause. As I said in the message, this evening, in our great city, we have the opportunity to eliminate one of the largest drug cartel leaders this decade has ever known" Applause filled the room with a cold echo. I paced across the freezing, hard, concrete floor. "The donations you've provided us with have proved effective in tracing none other than Jorge Castas, El Salvador's most disgusting criminal. He's known by his stoic face in all times. He's staying in a penthouse at "Shooting Star Enterprises" The tallest building in the city." At this point the backers were enormously interested, but I could tell they were becoming impatient. "Now gentlemen, I'm sure you're all asking the same question; How am I going to accomplish such a feat? I'm pleased to tell you a dear friend from my college days is holding one of her famed party's. Her penthouse is two floors lower than Jorge's, and best of all she discreetly invited me, so there will be no way of knowing where I came from. From there I will simply climb the elevator shaft, neutralize his body guards one-by-one, send a mixture of Halothane and Methoxyfluranegas thru the A/C to incapacitate the victim, walk into his office, disable the lights, let 'Cuddles' in thru the window, and simply wait for Jorge Castas to awaken. We will disable all his assets and punish him for his crimes." With that, I smiled, picked up my bag, and walked hurriedly to my vehicle outside. "Cuddles" would join me later.

*DING*
"56th floor at last"
The elevator doors slid open, revealing an elegantly designed hall. I walked out into the hall, the beautiful pattern on the floor dazzled and entranced me. Down the hall I continued, the pattern still holding my attention. I turned down a long hallway, loud dance music interrupted my thoughts. It came from room "2918". Of course, it's been 2 years, 9 months and 18 days since I had last seen her. "Here we go". I knocked and waited. The door opened.
I tried not to let my emotions get a hold of me. I tried to push the dreams we had out of my mind. There she was, she had hardly changed since the last time I saw her. She grinned and motioned for me to come inside. I nodded. There were more people than I could count. Frenetic energy filled the room. I could tell why these parties where famous. I walked to the bar and poured my self a hard drink I can't remember. She walked up behind me and took my hand. With no words she led me upstairs to a balcony overlooking the city. The view was breathtaking. The sun, just setting, cast a golden light that rested on her smiling cheek. I couldn't control my emotions any longer. "I'm sorry I never came back, I wish I could tell you, but-" she put a finger to my lips. "Shh, you're here now, that's all that matters" She wrapped her arms around my waist. We stayed embraced for the most beautiful minute of my life. "Listen, you know why I'm here. I only wish I could stay this time" The moment I let the words out, I wished I had never said them. She pulled away from our embrace, a tear rolled down her face. A pain, deep down, cut my soul like razor blades. "I need to go, I'm so sorry, I have a job to do" She said nothing, she just stared blankly into the sunset.
I made my way to the ventilation duct, unscrewed the grate and hopped inside. I dropped my duffle bag to the ground, inside I had my gear, my custom .45 pistol with suppressor, a karambit knife, some rope, my IFAK, and miscellaneous tools I've found that come in handy. I started climbing, inch-by-inch. At last I reached Jorge's penthouse. I looked thru the grate, 4 guards sat on a couch, playing Call of Duty: Ghosts. "Wow, these guys have bad taste" I thought as I stealthily opened the grate from the inside. I pulled out my .45 and fired 8 rounds, double-tapping each guard with a headshot. Quickly, I walked into the room and immediately located the A/C vent. I hooked the tubes from the gas containers directly into the vent. I put on my mask and waited for the gas to take effect. 30 seconds passed. I walked to the front door and let "Cuddles" in. Together we walked into the office. At his desk, Jorge Castas sat slumped over. His accountant sat asleep nearby. We waited. And waited. "Cuddles" made a corny joke about putting too many chemicals in the gas mixture. Finally they started to come to. The lights glowed red just like I wanted them to, the skull mask with long dred-locks built in, fit perfectly to my head, my gun, I held at an angle as if I was some hispanic gangster. All of these things where thought out carefully to inflict as much terror as I could. "GET UP, GET UP!" I yelled in an effected voice. "I NEED YOU TO GIVE ME THE LOCATIONS OF ALL YOUR DRUG OPERATIONS IN NORTH AMERICA!" Jorge laughed in a way so strangely, it could give you nightmares. "Why would I do that?" he said in thick accent. "BECAUSE WE MEAN BUSINESS, GIVE US THOSE LOCATIONS, NOW!" Jorge said nothing. "ALRIGHT 'CUDDLES', SHOW HIM HOW WE DO BUSINESS!" With that "Cuddles" removed a large blade from a sheath on his belt, and dispatched the accountant with a single sweep of his arm. "SEE!" I actually forced a chuckle, even though deep down that type of violence disgusted me. But even our worst was nothing compared to what he had done to us, and we vowed to repay him for what he did. He said nothing, instead he opened his laptop, and printed out the locations of his entire North American drug operation. I smiled under my mask. I reached out my gloved hand, and snatched the map from his pudgy hand. *BANG* The door burst open. A muscular man ran in carrying an RPD. Without even so much as a word he sent a burst of fire that cut down "Cuddles". I pulled the trigger on my .45, but it jammed! He fired a burst in my direction, hitting my body armor and sending me out the window. All I remember was seeing her face in my mind, then it all went black.
That took a while:D I built this scene and took the pictures a couple of weeks ago, but the story took quite a while to develop.
I hope you all enjoyed the build and story!
GOD BLESS!

Colas Rail class 47 no. 47739 'Robin of Templecombe' stands at Horsted Keynes working 13.00 East Grinstead-> Sheffield Park on 17th April 2016 during the GBRf take over of the Bluebell Railway. GB Railfreight class 73 no. 73119 'Borough of Eastleigh' was inside the 47 to translate the brakes. The Colas 47 was filling in for an unavailable Riviera Trains class 47 but on this diagram in particular, was filling in for a failed pair of GB Railfreight class 20s.
Running out of allowed submissions to the group. I've got two guns (including this one) ready to go on the group, and it wouldn't suprise me if I came up with a fifth not to long from now. Then I'll have to wait a day I suppose...
Third Journal Page:
"What was I to do? My wife was dead, my daughter kidnapped, no one would believe me, and the only answer I had lay with the coordinates and this strange gun.
So I followed it.
The coordinates were to a small island off the coast of New England, a good haul north from the green woods of Pennsylvania where I was born and raised. I packed a duffle with some clothes, a few food items, and the gun. Before I knew it I was there. The drive had been automatic, my entire trip a monotony deviod of thought. Only a dull empty feeling in my heart that weighed me down like lead.
It was an wet foggy morning, with a bitter chill in the air that bit to the bone. A morning that any other day would have been gladly spent inside where it was warm and comfortable.
I rented a small row boat to take myself to the island, seeing as none of the local sailors were in any state of a mood to take me to it themselves. I arrived after an hour of rowing and fastened a rope to the nearest tree to tether my boat in place. It was a bleak place, a rocky hump jutting out of the water, its sea beaten head covered with dark pines. I started to look for a path when the thought occured that it might be best to take the gun with me. I had a horrid feeling about this place, and I wasn't much assured by the fact that whoever directed me here thought it important to give me a weapon first. Clumsily hefting it, I made my slow way up the difficult rocky slope to the nearest pines.
As I came under the branches of the tall silent guardians, these anciet pines that looked to be old that perhaps they remembered days when they stared at America's first settlers with the same dark brooding gaze I felt now. No where before did I feel so strongly like the tree around me were alive and aware of me, and by no means happy that I was walking beneath them.
I felt frightened then, and angry at myself that I was frightened. It is nothing, only trees. Continue on Matthew, you're almost through it, I thought to myself, there is notthing here to be afraid of. You'll get out of here and find that it all was just a silly hoax, a false hope.
But I could not help the feeling of being followed and watched by something. I was about to turn back when something caught my eye. Up ahead there was a bit of tall rocks that jutted up towards the seaward side of the island. A deep cleft ran into them, facing the mainland, and there was a large boulder wedged in the cleft in such a way it made a natural archway leading into the narrow path created by the cleft. What caught my eye though was something carved upon the rock. I had spent fifeteen years of my life in studies of archeology, specializing in Viking history. I knew very well what I saw carved deep into that stone. It was a rune.
At this revealation, which any other day I would normally consider a career making find, filled me with dread at this particular moment. But it was too late to turn back, my mind would give me no peace if I did.
So I slowly walked into the narrow cleft the forged deep into the tall stones.
It did not climb upwards as I had expected, but rather dropped slowly, making its way between the giant monolithic stone fingers until finally it emerged into a great basin. Surrounded on all sides by tall jutting stone, it was filled with the same pines that covered the rest of the island, with one exception. In the middle of the basin rose a hill covered in stones and old rotten wood. That is all it appeared at first, but as I looked upon it I recognized as a now decayed hillfort.
I don't know why, but I felt the urgent need to be there. I rushed along the dirt track leading up to the fort, scrabbling up the stone rubble to the top.
I was in such a hurry I only noticed the dark furry figure stooped over a dead dear when it moved to glare at me as I stepped into the circle of the hillfort's wall.
It was... terrible. I was stunned in the fear the moment I locked eyes with it. I could only describe it in appearance as looking like how movies liked to depict the old tales of werewolves. It looked like a wolf, but it had long humanoid like limbs with knife-like claws. With a snarl it lunged towards me. I wanted ot raise my weapon and shoot, but fear paralyzed me where I stood.
I could feel its breath and smell its reek when my world was further shocked by the lound boom of what could only be a firearm.
The wolf creature hit the ground with a wet smack, its jaw resting on my hiking boot's tip.
My eyes slowly peeled from the now dead creature to the man now walking towards me carrying a long rifle that strongly resembled my own weapon. He wore a dark brown duster with wide brimmed hat that shadowed his face. He had a thick rough whitish beard and spoke with a deep strong commanding vioce that rumbled with command, but bore an edge of honesty in it that compelled one to instantly wish to trust and take heed to what he spoke.
'Quickly, Matthew Tiberius Allanach, there is no time. Explanations can be had but not now. This is just one old sick beast out of a mighty pack that inhabits this isle. We cannot linger here or we will meet the same fate as those who once lived in this ruin.'
I knew not how this man knew me name, and my full name at that. I was never proud of how much of a mouthful my parents had given me. I was just lucky that 'Matthew' was at least a fairly normal name.
But right now I could not ask this man how he knew this, for I did not doubt in the least that we were indeed in dire trouble."
Feedback (on the gun and the story) is very welcome.
Seriously, comments are very welcome.

Planning for trips is such a pain. The trips themselves though, are usually worth all the effort put into it.
*Love the renovations they did to this place, contemporary and vivid décor. Could just stay in and enjoy a glass of wine when it’s pouring out.
*I must have the most unusual “camera-bags”, ranging from a Supreme backpack to Head Porter boston and duffle bags (and a little monogram cigarette case for the iphone ). As a Flickr member suggested, I should buy me a Billingham. ^^
my little guy was kind enough to pose for a shot. it was based on the stories a lot of us have heard from grandparents etc... you know the ones "when i was a lad i had to walk 20 miles to school and 20 miles back, in the winter" etc... and the thing is, i know my dad and he did that and so much more! our previous generations are kinda awe inspiring! also based on the lyrics of the supertramp song "school"
I can see you in the morning when you go to school
Don't forget your books, you know you've got to learn the golden rule
The teacher tells you stop your play, get on with your work
And be like Johnnie too good, don't you know he never shirks
He's coming along
After school is over, you're playing in the park
Don't be out too late, don't let it get too dark
They tell you not to hang around and learn what life's about
And grow up just like them, won't let you work it out
And you're full of doubt
Don't do this and don't do that
What are they trying to do?
Make a good boy of you
But do they know where it's at?
Don't criticize, they're old and wise
Do as they tell you to
Don't want the Devil to
Come and pull out your eyes
Maybe I'm mistaken expecting you to fight
Or maybe I'm just crazy, I don't know wrong from right
But while I'm still living, I've just got this to say
It's always up to you, if you want to be that
Want to see that, want to see that way
You're coming along

This is a Burberry barbie's coat.( The barbie is exclusively in Japan )
I got this coat for Poppy,
but this suits Misaki better than Poppy.
Made this duffle bag for our camping trip next month. I am so excited how it turned out!! This thing is massive!!! I made a few adjustments to the pattern like small tabs for the d-rings and used duck cloth for the inside to make it more stable. I love it!!
Sewing all the layers together on the ends was really the most difficult thing and honestly was not that difficult. This was a fun sew that came together very quickly. Took about a week total but only a few hours were commited to the bag on about 4 nights total.
Studio Cherie pattern or Simplicity pattern #2274
It took a few days for Kara to recover from her fight with Bloodsport at the DEO. It's surprising that we haven't met anyone with Kryptonite until now. Here I am out on patrol, trying to find some answers. Unfortunately for me, everyone I've encountered has been less than co-operative in giving me any leads on this Kryptonite supplier. May have to switch tactics. Here's hoping things go better this time around.
-----------------
"I lost em." I mutter to myself, running through a nearby alleyway, duffle bag in hand. Nearly tripping over a garbage can, I manage to stop myself from falling over completely, before I keep running. Looking behind me occasionally, there's no one following me anymore. By the time I look back, it's too late, as there he is.. The Superboy, floating just inches from the ground in front of me.
"Did you really think you could outrun me, Derek?"
"How do you even know my who I am?"
"One of your buddies, Scott Bowman, gave you up. Said that you, Derek Fox, might have the answers I need. Was pretty easy tracking you down from there.
"Answer what? Just leave me alone, man!" I raise my pistol, shooting bullet after bullet. Kind of pointless, considering he's bulletproof.
"Sorry, but I can't do that. Not until you tell me whose selling Kryptonite in Leavenworth."
"Kryptonite?! I don't know nothing!" I stutter, backing away from the Teen of Steel. Black Zero wouldn't be very happy with me if I gave up the club, and what goes on behind closed doors.
"Uh oh, double negative. Now let's try this again. Whose selling the Kryptonite?" He remains calm, as his right hand forms a fist.
"I don't know!" I say once more, acting as best I can. Unfortunately, he isn't convinced.
"Wrong answer! Guess I'll have to do this the hard way after all." He grabs me by the collar, and flies us up to a nearby rooftop. Holding me over the ledge, with hints of red in his eyes, he clears his throat.
"Is this really worth almost dying over?" He asks, as his eyes go back to normal.
"I'm dead if I say anything." I squirm, my feet reaching, trying to get back to the ledge of the rooftop, but it's no use, as his titan grip holds me up by the collar.
"Uh oh, looks like you're starting to slip." He says, as one of his fingers lets go.
"Okay, okay! I honestly don't know that much. Only that there's been a few dealings of Kryptonite out of the club Zero. That's all I know, I swear! So please, just let me leave.
"See, was that so hard? Thank you. As for letting you off the hook, not a chance. Stealing from a low-income corner store, not cool man.. Here's hoping a night in prison changes your perspective on things." Just like that, I'm going back to prison.
------------------
Zero
I get a call to meet Chris at Zero, as there's apparently been some Kryptonite dealings going on there. It doesn't take me long to fly there. Upon landing on a ledge nearby Flux greets me with a wave.
"Looks like we're all here!" She says enthusiastically, looking back at Chris, before walking inside.
Something hits my back, which sends me spiraling downwards. My cape twists, almost tripping me up mid-air, but I'm able to recover, just a few feet from the ground. Floating above the ledge, was my attacker.
She feels familiar. From the way she holds herself, and how she descends. A costume that is an uncanny copy of mine, down to the way the House of El crest is shaped on it. Like looking into a mirror.
"Who are you?" I ask as my attacker lands in front of me.
"Isn't it obvious? I'm Supergirl." She sneers.
I haven't given some of my older dolls much attention, so I thought I'd take a few pics with the new duffle bags I made.
GB Railfreight class 73 no. 73136 'Mhairi' runs round its train at Sheffield Park having arrived with the 1350 from East Grinstead on which it had translated the brakes for class 66 no. 66770 during the GB Railfreight take over of the Bluebell Railway on 17th April 2016. In the background is class 66 no. 66770 and the pair would work the 15.20 back to East Grinstead.
I departed my house in Bedworth at 5.30 in order to be at the gala on time and I can honestly say, it was really worth it. Special thanks to GBRf for their efforts.
Barry shook the debris off his shoulders, his head stinking from the rough crash.
The moment he'd seen Iris plummeting from the sky, he knew he had to act as fast as he could. He'd bolted to the nearest fire escape, climbing the metal at super speed, and being quick enough to catch the woman midair.
"The Flash?" Mardon called, hovering above Barry and Iris. "You don't look like the Flash I remember."
"Wait."
"Huh?"
Barry watched Eddie turn back to his room, the pace at which he moved being much faster than before.
"I've… got something," he called, his voice straining. "You're gonna need it if you're going out there."
"Mr. Jones, I don't have ti-"
"There!" he shouted, interrupting Barry mid-sentence. "A hero… has got to have a uniform."
Eddie stepped out of the room, his open hand now carrying a duffle bag. His hand extended, Barry accepting the bag and sliding the zipper.
Barry's eyes widened as he looked into the black back, his gaze shooting up to Eddie. "Well, I told you… I was a big fan of his…"
Barry smiled, nodding to him. "I'll make sure to put it to good use."
"Let's just say… I needed a makeover," Barry announced. "Now, I'm gonna need you to stop, Mardon."
"I'm the Weather Wizard now, Flash!" Mardon yelled, his wand waving in the air. "I won't fail… and you definitely won't stop me."
Barry's expression steeled, his head turning to Iris. "Ma'am, get out of here," he ordered, lightning dancing around his body. "I'll take care of Mardon."
The woman was hesitant, looking between the two costumed men before nodding, running from the scene.
Barry brought himself to a running stance, eyes locked onto the floating man. Mardon's arm swung forward, his wand dragging a bolt of lightning to where Barry stood.
Moving as fast as he could, Barry dashed to the right, only barely avoiding the lightning strike. Another streak of lightning came crashing down, this time destroying a sedan near Barry. The car's explosion sent Barry crashing into a lamp post, yelling in pain as his back hit the metal.
With another wave of his wand, Mardon sent a gust of wind directly at Barry. The blast sent him into the air, his body crashing through an apartment complex's window. Barry brought himself to a stand, the force of a second wind blast bringing down the brick wall of the building.
Barry pushed the bricks off his body, his skin under his suit beginning to bruise. The explosion had seared his costume, his chest now exposed. "You don't need to get in my way, Flash," Mardon yelled from outside, now floating outside the broken wall. "Just walk away… you don't need to die."
"And what?" Barry said, standing up, swaying slightly. "Just let people die? No… I'm not going to let you hurt anyone."
"I don't want… to hurt anyone," Mardon added, swirling his wand in the air. "But I have a goal… and I will reach it no matter what."
A bolt of lightning shot through the apartment, Barry sidestepping to dodge. Carrying his momentum, Barry stepped onto the apartment's couch leaping from it towards Mardon.
The punch connected with Mardon's jaw, sending him to the ground with a crash. Barry rolled into a parked car, denting the metal with the impact.
Mardon stood, swinging his wand upward. Barry was hit by an uppercut of air, the car flipping onto its side. Barry recovered, dashing back at Mardon. His hands moved quickly, landing multiple blows against Mardon's torso.
"Get… back!" Mardon screamed, a tornado of wind blasting from his wand. Barry slid backwards, this time keeping on his feet. "I'll kill you if I have to!"
"Stop trying to imitate your father!" Barry screamed, Mardon's eyes widening at the words. "The Weather Warlock was a criminal! Why would you use this… amazing power to hurt others?"
"You… remember," Mardon mumbled, his voice shaky.
"You don't have to go down this path… Mardon," Barry said, his breath short. "You can still make this right… still be a hero…"
Mardon's expression darkened. "I don't… give a damn about heroes or villains…" Barry frowned, lightning sparking around him once again. "I'm going to be remembered… the world will remember me!"
The sky darkened, a mass of black clouds began converging above Mardon. A column of wind formed around the two of them, a small rebreather extending over Mardon's mouth. Barry could feel his oxygen leaving him as the tornado swirled around him.
"I warned you!" Mardon screamed, debris entering the tornado. "You caused this!"
Barry began to feel lightheaded, his vision blurring as rubble flew around him. A chunk building slammed into his side and knocked the remaining wind out of him.
"I won't be forgotten!"
Barry blitzed, no air in his lungs at all. His vision was dark and his body felt cold. He couldn't give up, however. His legs shot him in the air, landing atop a car door that was flying through the vortex. He jumped again, running along a street lamp as if it were a track. Leaping from the debris, Barry cocked back his fist as his body soared toward Mardon.
Mardon's eyes widened, lightning reflecting off of his iris'.
"I'll do it dad… I promise."
-^-
Joe slammed his car door shut. The entire city block was ripped to shreds; debris scattered along the street, dust mixing with the falling snow. What caught his attention more than anything else, however, was the man that stood in front of the museum.
His clothing was tattered, a red cloth mask covering his face. His posture was bad, his body swaying slightly as he huffed. Laid under him, knocked unconscious, was Marco Mardon. The red-clad man held the silver rod that Marco had been using, snapping it over his knee.
"Uncle Joe!"
Joe's head turned, spotting his red-haired niece running up to him. Her jacket was burnt up, her sweater underneath singed in odd patterns along the arms. Joe removed his trench coat, draping it over the woman's shoulders.
"Stay warm, sweetheart…" he said, hugging her. As he pulled away, his eyes drifted to the man standing in front of the museum. "Who the hell is that?"
Iris looked at the man as well, a smile stretching across her face. "That's... The Flash."
-^-
"It's been three weeks since the attack on Central City by Marco Mardon, better known as the Weather Wizard. The costumed villain's assault on the Museum caused great property damage, but ended when a red suited man dubbing himself 'the Flash' showed up on the scene."
Barry took a sip of orange juice; his legs kicked up on the coffee table in front of him and his arm rested on the back of the couch.
"That guy is so sick," Daniel said, a bite of pancake in his mouth. "I mean, the Flash? That's just so cool."
"It's not like it's something new," August said, chiming in. "The Flash has been around since the 20's. I just wonder what made him come back. Now, I mean."
"A Weather controlling super villain might do the trick," Iris said, causing August to roll his eyes. "Whatever the reason, I'm glad he did show up. If he didn't…"
"Hey now," Joe interrupted, pouring himself a coffee, "don't get caught up on what-ifs. He was there and he saved you."
"I know… I'm just glad that no one was hurt… especially you," she said, looking at Barry with a deathly glare. "At a friend's house… what friends do you have?"
"What? I have friends!" Barry said defensively.
"Oh yeah?" Iris challenged. "Name one that isn't Patty or in this room."
"Uh…"
August spit out his coffee as he doubled over in laughter. "Not on the carpet…" Joe sighed, shaking his head.
"The Jade-Eyed ball of Jealousy is back…" Daniel commented under his breath, Iris tossing a pancake at his head.
"Why would you… there's syrup in my hair!" Daniel shouted, turning to Iris.
"Aww, what's wrong?" she mocked, waving a bite of pancake in the air. "The baby gonna cry?"
"That's it!" Daniel shouted, leaping up and tackling Iris.
Barry smiled, putting his orange juice down on the coffee table before lifting Daniel off of Iris and holding him. "Get him Iris," he said while laughing.
"This is biased!" Daniel shouted as Irissmacked him repeatedly with a pancake.
"Two versus one isn't very fair, Barry," August announced, smacking Barry's head with a pillow. "Let's even these odds."
The sound of the front door opening caused everyone to stop roughhousing. Stepping inside was a shorter boy with bright orange hair and freckles along his face.
"You guys are already having a smackdown!?" the boy shouted, disappointment lacing his words. "That's fine, the Wall-Man is about to show out!"
"Wally you jump into that and I'm returning every one of them damn Christmas presents I bought you," Joe said, stopping the boy in his tracks.
"But Uncle Joe…"
"No buts, outside, all of you," Joe ordered, all four of the young adults moving to get their winter coats on. Wally 180'd, running back to the door and swinging it open.
He was stopped by Rudy West, who walked in before he could exit.
"Sorry, we'd have been here last night but the snow is only just starting to calm down," Rudy explained, eyebrow cocking at the mess in the living room.
"Oh, they'll be cleaning that up later, don't worry," Joe said, causing his nephew to chuckle.
"So, mom and dad not here yet?" he asked, taking off his winter coat.
"Nadine had a last minute surgery she had to perform, she won't be here until dinnertime," Joe explained, taking a sip of his coffee, "and Ira is still filing paperwork for that Mardon business."
"Me and Wally saw that on TV," Rudy said, sitting down on the couch. "I know it's… not a subject you're big on."
Joe lowered his head, staring into his steaming coffee. "I don't like these masked freaks… or metas… but that Flash guy… he saved your sister," Joe explained, looking up at Rudy. "So for now… he's alright in my book."
Barry smiled from the stairs. He knew Joe's trauma… the pain that the Eradicator caused him and Daniel. Knowing that he had Joe's support… he knew he was doing the right thing.
"Move it, slowpoke," Iris joked, lightly pushing Barry.
"You're all acting like children, you know," Joe said, calling to the four leaving the house.
"You love us anyways," August snapped back, shooting a finger gun at Joe as he walked out.
"Alright, we're gonna have uneven teams…" Daniel said, realizing there are 5 people now.
"Don't worry about it, I'll fly solo," August said, already holding a snowball. "I'm so good it's like there's two of me."
"I don't want to hear complaining then, August," Iris said, grabbing ahold of Barry by the hand. "Let's go, partner."
Barry smirked, nodding his head. He and Iris quickly crafted a wall of snow, the sound of snowballs smacking against it already being heard. Barry quickly made a handful of ammunition, giving half to Iris.
"Let's take these chu-"
"What the hell are a bunch of grown ass adults doing having a snowball fight?"
Barry looked to the sidewalk, smiling as he saw Eddie and Buster. "Mr. Jones! I'm glad you could make it!"
"Well, I don't got anywhere else to spend Christmas Eve," he said with a chuckle. "So, where's ya compe-"
Barry's eyes widened as a snowball splattered against Eddie's face. Peeking out from his fort was August, who cringed at his aim.
"Nice job!" Daniel yelled out, laughter pouring from him. "You need two of you with that accuracy!"
"Buster… take my cane," Eddie said, handing the dog his cane. Buster took it like a stick, trotting up and sitting on the porch. "I'm gonna show you what a real snowball fight looks like."
Barry smiled, ducking for cover as Eddie began building a fort of his own.
This is why he was given these extraordinary powers. He had to protect this; he had to protect everything and everyone he loved. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to laugh and smile like this. It was his duty to protect them… at any cost.

Barry flipped the welders helmet he wore up, admiring his own handy work.
In front of him was a bright red suit, gold and dark red highlights running throughout the design. The costume was made of reinforced carbon fibers Eddie had given him, he'd explained they were from one of his own old suits.
"That's looking like a fine costume," Eddie said from the doorway. "Lot different from Jay's costume though."
"Well," Barry said, looking down at his work once again. "I accomplished that aspect at least."

Jay stood in front of his display stand. On it rested a bright red jacket with a lightning bolt running up from the bottom. Tall red boots with additional golden wings sat under the blue denim pants. Atop it all was his signature bowl helmet, shining silver and gold.
The comforting hand of his wife on his shoulder made him turn his head, a small smile appearing on his face. "I can't believe we missed Tahiti," Jay said, making his wife laugh.
"I think it was for a good reason," Joan said with a smile. "I think you ought to look for that boy."
Jay's eyes focused on the golden lightning bolt of the jacket. "I think I ought to as well, dear."

"The Weather Wizard… looks like this city is getting a whole lot stranger," a blond man said as he tinkered with a sidearm.
"The speedster showing up isn't going to be very good for us, Snart," a second man said as he fiddled with a bullet. "These things aren't gonna do much."
"Worry not, Roy," Snart said, cocking back his side arm and aiming down the sights. "I've never botched a heist…" pulling the trigger, a bullet was shot into the corkboard on the wall, the hole directly through the Flash's picture.
"And I don't have any plans to alter that status."

"A grand return. How wonderful… oh so very wonderful," a man said, cackling as he laid out multiple prank-like objects on a table.
"Let's see if you're still as quick as you used to be, Flash."
-^-
"Weather Wizard… how corny."
As the black gloves hand tapped on the TV screen, the box crumbled to dust.
"You say that like your name isn't the Eradicator," a second voice said, one distorted by a voice modulator.
"Oh, there's a difference," the first voice said, his head looking down at the newspaper on the floor. "His stunt will be forgotten in weeks."
The man stepped on the paper, turning to traverse an alleyway. The second man grabbed the paper, reading the contents.
Wanted: Creed Philips, known as the Eradicator. If any information is known about him, please report it to the CCPD.
A blue flame lit at the bottom of the paper, searing it as the wind took it.
"Let's go, Monger," the first man said, looking over his shoulder. "Sounds like the big man's calling."

The noise of the cell door unlocking caused Marco to raise his head. Standing in the cellblock were two officers, as well as the assistant warden of Iron Heights Penitentiary, Gregory Wolfe.
"Get up, scumbag," Wolfe snarled, sliding the cell door open. "You got a visitor." Marco didn't respond, his head still hung, his face devoid of emotion.
Wolfe's scowl grew angrier, stepping into the cell and picking Marco up by the collar. "You're lucky Warden Wells even gives a damn about you pieces of human garbage," he yelled, shaking Marco in the air. "I'd have you bastards locked away in the darkest depths of this damn hellhole!"
"Sir," one of the guards spoke, causing Wolfe to set Marco down.
"Let's go," he scoffed, one of the guards moving behind Marco to push him along.
Marco was moved to the visitor center of the prison, his body pushed onto an open chair.
He heard someone take a seat on the other side of the glass, but his head stayed down. A knock on the glass caused his eyes to peer up, widening upon the sight of his brother.
His hand raised, hesitating to take hold of the phone. Taking a deep, yet shaky breath, he took hold of the phone.
"Hey."
"Hi… Dio."
The two sat silent for a moment, both staring at each other's faces. Marco felt regret. He felt sorry, like he screwed things up for good.
"Dio…," he started, swallowing the lump in his throat, "Dio I'm sorry… I just… I wanted you to-"
"You were amazing out there."
Marco's eyes widened. "What?" he breathed out, mouth in an 'o' shape.
"Your… your wand, it was incredible," Claudio praised, smiling at his younger brother. "You, you nearly beat that guy… I don't understand how you were able to make something so… spectacular."
"But… but I failed…" Marco said, tears pooling in his eyes.
"You didn't win, but have you seen the news?" he asked. "Everyone knows who the Weather Wizard is. Everyone knows who you, Marco Mardon, is. You've brought so much business to us… everyone wants to work with the Weather Wizard as soon as they can."
Marco's head fell again, tears leaking onto the countertop. 'I did it dad,' he thought as tears fell from his eyes. 'Your legacy… it won't die…'
His head raised, staring at his brother with a teary smile. "Dad… will never be forgotten again."
"You… neither will you."
