A visit to Dudhsagar waterfalls should not end with just a visit to the waterfalls. Because further ahead is Castle Rock, a town that looks like it has emerged straight out of a story book. It is a sleepy little hill town. The Castle Rock railway station seems to be the only reason the town exists.

The railways tracks trace a horseshoe (U) over the valley approaching the Dudhsagar waterfalls. The first glimpse of the falls is, hence, from across the valley.

We just couldn't take our eyes off it. At that moment, we couldn’t care about the camera, the photograph, the view point or anything else. The Dudhsagar waterfalls, even from that far across the valley, had hypnotised us.

One of my dream shot. Anything for this combination, imported GT46PAC twins with Dudhsagar waterfalls in backdrop. WDP4 twins 20007 and 20005 come to a screeching halt near Dudhsagar falls as they push the Vasco Howrah Amravathi express.

A pic that summarizes the allure of the section. UBL WDG-4 twins led by a unique looking 12313 coast down the braganza ghat section pulling an epmty BOXN consist.

Dudhsagar Falls meaning Sea of Milk is a famous waterfalls located in border of Goa and Karnataka, India.

It would be difficult, indeed, to overestimate the transcendent importance of the part the railroad has played in making the Nation what it is to-day. Perhaps it would be within bounds to say that without railroads to bind the States into one homogeneous whole, the Nation never could have attained its present size and importance.

The magical combo from GY with a mix of orange and blue, with their headlights on shatter the serenity of the place silencing the early morning warbling of birds and those uncanny gibberish sounds of monkey's as they charge up the Braganza ghats, being pushed by the imported set of 20005 and 20007, with Shalimar bound Amravati express from Vasco.

From a distance, it looks like the area around the Dudhsagar waterfalls is covered in clouds. It is actually just the spray from the waterfalls, its momentum so strong, it actually crosses over to the other side of the railway tracks.
