~ The deeper you stick it in your vein
The deeper the thoughts, there's no more pain
I'm in heaven, I'm a god
I'm everywhere, I feel so hot
It's not a habit, it's cool, I feel alive
If you don't have it you're on the other side
I'm not an addict (maybe that's a lie)
It's over now, I'm cold, alone
I'm just a person on my own
Nothing means a thing to me ~

Located on the east bank of the Snake River in Grand Teton National Park, Schwabacher's Landing is a great location to see the Teton Range at sunrise. On this morning the river water was slow moving with no wind, providing an excellent surface to reflect the Teton Range in the background. The fall colors in the middle-ground complemented the cloudless blue sky. The warm light of the rising sun highlighting the mountains warmed my heart with the beauty of it all.

First Light on Lassen from Upper Meadow: I end this series of Lassen Volcanic National Park photos, with the beginning of a new day. Kings Creek runs through Upper Meadow, making it an ideal location for beautiful morning pictures of Mount Lassen bathed in light from the morning sun. Upper Meadow is just waking up with a touch of fog. I hope you have enjoyed this series.

The wind along the Oregon coast can be quite strong, creating wind-swept beaches and large dunes. This is especially true from Coos Bay to Florence, where the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area is found.

Wind is an excellent eraser on sand. It clears out the old patterns and leaves a fresh canvas for the making of new impressions. I wonder who made these tracks across the sand. This beach is on the South Jetty near Florence, Oregon

One of Yosemite National Park's icons, El Capitan is a steep granite formation that greets you as you enter the Yosemite Valley. It is a favorite among rock climbers who love the challange of climbing up the sheer face.
While @CalgaryArtsDev CEO Patti Pon & Calgary Mayor @JyotiGondek sang the praises of the latest art installation to grace @downtowncalgary at one end of Stephen Ave; the reality of how our public art is used was plain to see further down the Ave. Open drug use & washing hung out to dry on our public art.

This is my circlist portrait of Elvis Presley. I've always admired him. I wanted to make something unusual and give him the aspect of a solid and invincible robot... but not a real "terminator" because he was especially a romantic man with one of the most beautiful voices ever...
Please enlarge to see how it's done. I've only used circles of different sizes and colors on a black background. The whole portrait took me several days of intense work. There is no trick, those circles aren't placed automatically, I've positioned each circle one by one. I'm now going to make a circlist portrait of Freddie Mercury...

Love Me
A poem by Peter S. Quinn
Love me tender
Love me now
Our I’ll return to sender
Your love somehow
Love me for ever
And don’t let me go
Don’t be too cleaver
For me to know
Every your way
Is loves to take
You are my day
For each my heartache
Every your love
Be good or ill
Like clouds here above
Drift or rain spill
Love is in the air
This singing spring
Beauty is all around here
In that these times bring
Bouquet’s beautiful rose
How dear you are now
Fragrance sweet and close
Is summer days endow
Love me tender
Love me still
Every day is a splendor
With you to fulfill
