The forested path behind Ur Jefferson's Freakshow is shrouded in a foggy malaise that obscures your vision and casts doubt about which direction a faint, gutteral chanting is coming from. Large stones underfoot unbalance your already-unsteady knees and you fall to the ground although, for a split second, you feel as though you might continue a descent into some mysterious middle-earth. Alas, the feel of soil beneath your hands which brace your fall confirm that you still remain on this mortal plane of existence. However, your instinct to rise immediately is halted by a cold shadow cast over your kneeling and shivering form. The chanting is louder, too and though the words that reach your ears are indecipherable, inside your mind you picture the eternal cycle of life and death and how all that blooms returns to the dirt--all except for the ancient spirits of the forest themselves. Elemental creatures forever standing guard, forever bearing witness to the reaping of souls!

New RP duo. My WiP premise description:

The daughter of the ranking of the Royal Guard of her homeland, the Ranger General.

Luna recently arrested a young Drow, Vey, caught seemingly red-handed in committing a serious crime. However while held captive, she got to know the drow and believed her to be innocent or unbefit of the punishment bestowed on her. Being guided by what's right above all else, she convinced the Ranger General to let the drow free; But at a cost. Luna would be responsible for the drow from now on, bound to her by the elder's powerful elven magic, carving out the drow's memories and a fragment of her soul, tying it to Luna herself. Now she functions as a Keeper for the Drow, balancing the elder power of domination through the prisoner's soul, while set on a path to help the Drow get accustomed to the top-world while herself tasked by the elders to learn about responsibility and duty.

Turmoil and chaos echoed through the streets of Telos, armor and the clanking of metallic creatures heading to different parts of the city, yet somehow, as Fayuela promised to the group, the road back to the former magistrate's home was clear.

Without a word, Keltar slowly unfastened the mask he obtained back at Cynidicea, lowering the makeshift hood from his shawl.

Hoshi's face was one of complete surprise. She ran towards him and begins to pound his chest angrily.

Hoshi: A hundred years! A hundred years! I've been looking for you for a hundred years! I thought the Souldrake and Svyren took you!

The blows become weaker and weaker. The ronien buried her head in his chest, a sob escaped her lips for the first time in ages.

Both siblings laughed.
