I recently watched Baby Driver and it’s such a great movie, I recommend you watch it. I’ve seen it 5 times now and it still hasn’t gone stale. I also love Edgar Wright and hope to make more figs from his movies.

The cool taxi driver from the previous image also allowed me to take a portrait shot while waiting on a traffic light. The red traffic light contributed nicely to the overall atmosphere.

His face seems to me to tell the story of living and working in communist China as did his clothing.
Such a nice guy quiet and guarded, curious but disciplined.
Here I am, just driving down Madison Street in Rockford, minding my own business. It's bad enough there's a train traveling down the middle of the street, but then it makes a right turn right in front of me without using its turn signal. Drivers these days...

Shelsley Walsh, Worcestershire, England, United Kingdom, on Saturday 3rd June 2023.
About the photograph.
The man with the baseball cap, I’ve no idea who he is, he could be a family member of the driver, or the driver’s mechanic, or anything like that. Here, he is making final checks to the car, including the steering wheel, cockpit, and stuff, plus having a quick chat with the driver, before the car moves forwards to the starting line.
The driver is Jack Cottrill from Upton Snodsbury in Worcestershire. Here he is getting ready, while in his Dallara Cosworth open-wheel, single-seat race car with 2650cc engine.
The programme guide only said the car is Dallara Cosworth, but did not state which model.
Dallara Group S.r.l. is a largest multi-national Italian race car manufacturer. It was founded by Diampaolo Dallara. It had designed and built some cars for various motorsport events, including Formula 1.
About Shelsley Walsh.
Shelsley Walsh is a motorsports speed hill climb track in Worcestershire, and organised by the Midland Automobile Club (MAC).
It is one of the oldest motorsports event, having started in 1905, and held events every year, except for the two World Wars.
It is also a notably steep course by today’s hill climb standards, rising 328ft / 100m over its 1000 yards / 914 metres length.
The track and course do not belong to MAC, it is leased from the local landowner. The original lease ran for 99 years, and in 2005, a new lease was signed for the next 99 years.

No, it was actually photographed when driving through Lyttelton Tunnel, heading to Lyttelton from Christchurch...
...and no, I wasn't the driver at the time!

Drivers and a horse cart in front of Sintra's 'Palacio nacional'.
"The horse-drawn cart rides in the Park of Pena provide a true journey through time on a route between the Valley of the Lakes and the Chalet of the Countess of Edla, passing through Pena Farm and the Garden of the Countess of Edla. This ride can be unguided or accompanied by a specialized guide who will lead visitors to discover the history of this park and its creator, the botanical and animal species that appear along the way, and the historical buildings and corners of the garden along the route. "
Nowadays, ten of these carts are operating in Sintra.

On the evening of Friday the 28th January, the usual 6J37 lumbers into Warrington hauled by 70815. Warrington in almost always the changing point for 6J37 - I believe the first driver would take the train all the way from Carlisle and then the second driver takes the train into Chirk and back out as far as Warrington very early the following morning (please correct me if I'm wrong there).

Nice to see this family workhorse parked up at Alexandra Palace doing a quick drop off before it pootled of smelling distinctly of petrol. Love these old things, especially in GLT form with those alloys and (hopefully) comfy leather heated seats.
