The driver wheels on the Y6a Class engines were not very tall, as what you needed from them was to be able to drag the heavy strings of coal cars at a constant speed. And since the wheels were smaller, you could build a larger boiler and firebox that would still clear the tunnels on the rail line. Saw this when I pulled into a parking spot at Pet Co. this afternoon. Kinda humorous, the dog looking like he was impatient and getting ready to drive off. Wish I could have taken the picture from outside my car, rather than through a dirty windshield, but I had to capture that moment before the pup switched seats.
