Look at that, it looks as though he is on his Mobile Phone. Still not to worry, they can't stop those idiots in cars doing it and they are going a lot slower than this chap. Best looked at in the Original size.
Caught this taxi driver taking a rest shortly after sunset in Ho Chi Mihn City. Used a monopod and slow shutter speed to blur the traffic.

Detail of B2737, the Battle Bus
B2737, one of the last B-type buses.
The B-type was introduced in 1910 by the London General Omnibus Company (LGOC).
B2737 served Route 9 (Barnes and Liverpool Street), in 1914 it was one of the 1,000 LGOC vehicles commandeered by the War Department to be used as troop carriers on the Western Front. After the war B2737 was used in London as a 'Traffic Emergency Bus', relieving pressure on congested bus routes. In 1922 it was sold to the National Omnibus & Transport Company, eventually ending up as a garden shed by the 1980s.
Taken at Walworth Bus Garage Open Day, 19 July 2014, as part of Year of the Bus.
The depot was previously the Camberwell Tram Depot, the name was changed to Walworth Bus Garage in 1950 when buses arrived on-site (there already being a Camberwell Garage).
For the Gizmodo shooting challenge. This was the shot that I didn't choose because there was a bit too much blur.
A project from many years ago when I designed a set of cards for a game based on London Buses. Basically a point scoring game with players trying to get as many passengers as possible. Too mathematical really!
A driver and conductor were needed for each bus card, before passengers (points) could be earned.
"On a spring night two months ago, five boys in a brand new car hurtled along route 202 in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at 90 m.p.h. Suddenly the car struck the road divider, bounced back across the highway into the guard rail, and then smashed into a railroad bridge abutment. James E. Knott, 18, and James R. Myers, 16, seniors at the Ambler, Pennsylvania, high school, and Anthony S. Ciocca, 17, a former student there, were dashed to the roadbed and killed.
The driver and owner of the car, Harry R. Schield, 20, died of his injuries five days later. Only James F. Serrao, 16, who was asleep in the backseat, survived. Knott’s grief stricken father urged that the wreckage be displayed as a warning to other youngsters at his sons school. The Ambler school board refused.
Immediately, several other schools in the area arranged to show the mangled automobile to their pupils. Here, students of the Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School review the grid memorial to the aftermath of a teenage party.

Taxi drivers sitting in the shade, waiting for customers - if you look closely you can see their blue-painted taxis reflected in the sunglasses.
It may look like a stick of rock from the front - and if indeed it was then First York Volvo B7RLE Wright Eclipse Urban 69001 (YK54 ENL) could only have York written through it. Almost twenty years after entry into service in the city, it was serving as a driver trainer on 19th September, 2023.

Usual scenario ~ bus trying to restart from a bus stop and the selfish b++++ds just keep on overtaking. This clown caused the rapidly moving bus to pull back and almost stop or matey, above, would have run out of road. That lovely shiny red shopping trolley would have been written-off or worse .... so we've awarded the the above a RDA !!!!
