I love long exposures, everything to do with night time, the dark, sunrise and sunset.
I like to take pictures mainly at night , sometimes during the day and in dull and fading light and I will sometimes display the time and date the picture was taken too.
I tend to take pictures of Light trails, Motorway traffic, Street lights, Buildings, Landscapes, Bokeh, Night bokeh and Hexagonal Night Bokeh in England.
All of my pictures are 100% natural and untouched in every way without ever been Photo shopped or altered or messed about with in anyway whatsoever, No multi layered photography, No HDR's and No image manipulation of any kind, all of my pictures look just the way they did when I saw them at the time of taking and I'm VERY PROUD of that.
I don't do any photo processing at all, I don't even own any photo software.
All of my starbursts are all 100% natural without using any filters or anything else, as is all my bokeh, night bokeh and hexagonal night bokeh, its all natural, no funny gimmicks at all.
I don't do anything with my pictures apart from take them and then upload them , 99.99999% of my pictures don't even get cropped , they are all 100% natural and untouched and then uploaded.

Apparently they'd been filming the new James Bond movie on the Atlantic Ocean Road just a few weeks before my visit! :O I'd have watched the movie in any case, but I look forward to this one especially. xD Hope the road scene doesn't get cut.

He was the orca from the feel-bad movie "Free Willy". I knew he was dead, but not that he had a grave. As I blasted past the sign pointing to it, I just spotted his name out of the corner of my eye... "Wait... Did that sign say 'Keiko'-something?!" And I stopped to check. :p
In other news, I have just set up an art shop on Redbubble. Apparently they have 700000 artists so I don't count on my stuff even being seen EVER, but be nice and go there and follow me or something. :B #buymyfesteringturdofarecord

Note to self: On 5-Dec-2020, this became the 600th photo in my "Favorited 5x or more" album!
My rental Dacia seemed to have some trouble after this road, on which I drove ca 40 km... (It was from Rent-A-Wreck, but it was accidentally new.) One of the service lights came on. One of the ones that mean "DRIVE CAREFULLY TO THE NEAREST WORKSHOP OR DIE." I freaked the fuck out and called the rental place to see if they could Google up the nearest shop for me. It seemed to be some kind of first time for them:
"Meh, I suggest you use the Internet to search -"
"AS I ALREADY MENTIONED, I DO NOT HAVE INTERNET ACCESS HERE, EHEHEHE."
Eventually I was given the name of some shop WAY too far away... (Like 150 km at least.) This would seriously cut into my roadtrip-time. *cries* I started to drive towards it... (By now I was back on normal, paved roads.) After 1 km, it sounded like a ton of gravel came loose from the undercarriage. Around that time, the service light switched itself off. Oh. OK. *gulp* I COULD CONTINUE MY FUCKING ROADTRIP UNINTERRUPTED! :)

The photo would be even more "meh" if it weren't for the coolly angled motorhome (NOT MINE)... although the sky is reasonably dramatic, and the mountain blobs on the left are nicely shaped. :)

Only counting movies I saw for the first time.
Faves: 3… at this time. (But as usual, I enjoyed most of the movies more or less.)
Best: Sing Street :)
21-Feb-2018: 1. The remains of the day
3-Mar-2018: 2. Moana
9-Mar-2018: 3. The hangover
1. I watched it because I once stayed in a hostel that's kinda sorta visible in this, and the little hostel was so proud about it and had Hangover posters on the wall. xD
2. That Alan guy was almost as awkward as I am. :O
13-Mar-2018: 4. I heart Huckabees
14-Mar-2018: 5. I am not your negro
18-Mar-2018: 6. The wisdom of crocodiles (a.k.a. Immortality)
30-Mar-2018: 7. The lovers
31-Mar-2018: 8. Hellcab (a.k.a. Chicago cab)
1-Apr-2018: 9. True colors
2-Apr-2018: 10. Playing by heart
6-Apr-2018: 11. Chi-raq
7-Apr-2018: 12. The wildest dream
14-Apr-2018: 13. Sing Street
Fave! (Though it does have a few brodude-y moments.) And the best soundtrack I heard this year! My fave songs were "Up" and "Drive it like you stole it". AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
The prom scene is my favourite. Reality = SO crap. Fantasy = SO corny. xD
PS. Incidentally, the best soundtrack I heard in 2017 was also in an Aidan Gillen movie – King Arthur: Legend of the sword. :B
21-Apr-2018: 14. The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Tim Curry had a ton of charisma in this :O
24-Apr-2018: 15. Mister John
27-Apr-2018: 16. Blitz
The, um, hero is an almost complete troglodyte. *barf* But Aidan Gillen is fucking great as the villain. SIGH
28-Apr-2018: 17. Shanghai knights
10-May-2018: 18. Beneath the harvest sky
11-May-2018: 19. Calvary
A number of funny characters. :B
The incel: "Why do people kill themselves, Father?"
The priest: "Why do people kill themselves? [indecipherable] Lots of reasons, I suppose. Why do you think yourself?"
The incel: "I don't know. The drink, depression, lack of sex, maybe."
The priest: "You're a presentable young man. I wouldn't have thought you'd have much trouble in that area."
The incel: "I don't have the gift of the gab. Never had it."
The priest: "It's making you feel suicidal?"
The incel: "More bored than anything else. It's either committing suicide or joining the army."
The priest: "Those are pretty drastic choices either way."
The incel: "You can learn a trade if you join the army."
The priest: "You can learn a trade if you don't join the army."
The incel: "You can experience more of life."
The priest: "You think you can become a more authentic person by fighting in a war? By killing people?"
The incel: "You're against me joining the army, is what I'm sensing."
The priest: "Well, let's put it this way: I've always felt there's something inherently psychopathic about someone who joins the army in peacetime. As far as I'm concerned, people join the army to find out what its like to kill someone. I hardly think that's an inclination that should be encouraged in modern society, do you?"
The incel: *shrug*
The priest: "Jesus Christ didn't think so, either. And the commandment 'Thou shalt not kill' does not have an asterisk beside it, referring you to the bottom of the page where you find a list of instances where it's OK to kill people."
The incel: "What about self-defense?"
The priest: "It's a tricky one, all right. We're hardly being invaded, though, are we?"
The incel: "War on terror has no borders."
The priest: "I don't think Sligo's too high on Al Quaeda's agenda, Milo. Do you?"
The incel: "Who knows what goes on in the Muslim mind? I have had murderous feelings, though, I have to admit. Not getting laid, it's starting to make me feel really angry towards women. And so I thought, well, if I join the army, those inclinations, as you call them, would be seen as a plus. On your application, like. I mean, they don't come right out and say that's what they're looking for. In the advertisements, it's all about seeing the world and all that shite. But I would assume that wanting to murder someone would be like having a degree in engineering or something. You know, it would outweigh my lack of qualifications."
The doctor: "You know… When I first started out, working up in Dublin, there was this three-year-old boy. Parents brought him into the hospital. A routine operation, like. But the anesthetist, he made a mistake. The little boy ended up deaf, dumb, blind, and paralysed. For good, like. Think of it. Think when that little boy first regained consciousness. In the dark. You'd be frightened, wouldn't you? You'd be frightened. In the kind of a way that you know that the fear's going to end. It has to. It must. Your parents couldn't be too far away. They'll come to your rescue. They'll turn the light on. They'll talk to you. But think of it – nobody comes to rescue you. No light is turned on. You are in the dark. You try to speak, but you can't. You try to move, but you can't. You try to cry out, but you are unable to hear your own screams. You are entombed within your own body, howling with terror."
The priest: "What the fuck… Why the fuck would you tell me a story like that?"
The doctor: *shrug* "No reason."
The priest: *LUNGE*
The doctor: *martial arts pose*
The doctor: "Some people are awful touchy."
13-Jul-2018: 20. The maze runner

27-Jul-2018: 22. Thorne: Scaredy cat
10-Aug-2018: 23. Philomena
11-Aug-2018: 24. The place beyond the pines
14-Aug-2018: 25. The boat that rocked (a.k.a. Pirate radio)
A heartwarming story about trying to rape people by turning off the light and pretending to be someone they want to fuck. And about throwing condoms in the ocean, and being astoundingly resistant to hypothermia.
PS. If someone threw a condom in the ocean in front of me, he would have no need for another one if you know what I mean. LOLOLOLOLOLBARF
20-Aug-2018: 26. Never let me go

18-Oct-2018: 34. Hachiko: A dog's story (a.k.a. Hachi: A dog's tale)
26-Oct-2018: 35. Flashdance
I think the lovely "The full monty" inspired me to see it. I had to watch the "He's a dream" and "Maniac" scenes 10000 times. o_O In other news, I physically can't fucking dance. Except the Borat dance, which was cool in 4th grade.
31-Oct-2018: 36. Ringu
*YAWN* UNFORTUNATELY, HARDLY SCARY AT ALL. I'd had it sitting around for years, too scared to watch it because my buddy said she had to get a prescription for sleeping pills after seeing it. And because I found "The ring" scary af. However, 1 h into "Ringu" I had to pause and doze off. Better luck to me next Halloween. D:
2-Nov-2018: 37. Darkest hour
9-Nov-2018: 38. Euphoria (2017)
I fucking love euthanasia. ^_^
11-Nov-2018: 39. Three billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri
Mildred: "Could pull blood from every man and boy in this town over the age of eight."
Willoughby: "There's civil rights laws prevents that, Mrs. Hayes. And what if he was just passing through town?"
Mildred: "Pull blood from every man in the country, then."
Willoughby: "Then what if he was just passing through the country?"
Mildred: "If it was me, I'd start up a database. Every male baby what's born, stick them on it. And as soon as he done something wrong, cross-reference it, make 100% certain it was a correct match, then kill him."
Willoughby: "Yeah, well, there's definitely civil rights laws prevents that."
Willoughby: "Don't give me that look. If you got rid of every cop with vaguely racist leanings, you'd have… three cops left, and all of them are gonna hate the fags, hehe. So what are you gonna do, you know?"
23-Nov-2018: 40. The zookeeper's wife
I've been watching "Game of thrones" and after a while I began to notice that Michael McElhatton had the best voice on the show so I rushed off to the library and took out all 3 of their Michael stuff so I could hear a bit more. BECAUSE MOAR! I also tried to Google whether he has done any audiobooks. It seems not? :'( *listens to little mp3 of "Lady Sansa, will you take this man?" 400 times straight*
24-Nov-2018: 41. The foreigner
3-Dec-2018: 42. Bohemian rhapsody
15-Dec-2018: 43. The brothers Grimsby
Fave! I died. One of the best bits was when Trump got AIDS. xD
16-Dec-2018: 44. Gravity
(Hey, she just happened to land in a lake in which I went swimming in 2016!)
20-Dec-2018: 45. Mary Magdalene
… Wow, look how hawt Jesus was!
26-Dec-2018: 46. Paddington

A paradise island that I visited for the first time between June 26 and July 3, 2022. :)
You have to bring all your own food and stay in the single little camping area (which has mostly cottages and tents). And you have to walk from the ferry to the camp - up to 8 km depending on the wind etc, but the most common distance seemed to be 4 km. However, the luggage is hauled by a tractor. :)
In short, it's not child-friendly. :D Although some ambitious people still brought their offspring. :O
I took the train from Gothenburg to Stockholm, then the commuter train from Stockholm to Nynäshamn. Spent the short night on the quay in Nynäshamn, sleeping a little bit while hiding from mosquitos. Then I took a seasickness pill and slept more on the comfy little ferry to Gotska.
So there is a bit of a logistical hassle involved in getting there. Not complaining. :D The hassle may explain why I only saw approximately 1 piece of litter during the entire week - people who bother to visit are probably actual nature fans. :p Not the type who go "Uh, I went for a walk in the woods today. But I don't like it that much, so I tried to ruin it with a candy wrapper, a diaper, and a beer can. I hope loads of wildlife will get injured by my shit."
In the camping village I rented a tiny room in a cottage consisting of 2 such tinyrooms (each with a bunk bed) and a shared kitchen. My cottage was called Oskar. :) There's also a communal kitchen (for the tent-renters), showers, drinking water, recycling, and surprisingly clean outhouses.
Helicopters can land, but visiting is discouraged if you have frail health. o_O Though there is a priest (...) who can presumably grant you the last rites. (Not to my anti-theist ass obviously.)

I visited Trollstigen in 2016 as well, in sunlight... But it wasn't chopped liver in the fog either. I drove up it slowly and blissfully, blasting the "King Arthur: Legend of the sword" soundtrack, which suited the mood in the dramatic landscape of dark, wet rocks. :q
One of my travel plans involves:
- Taking a train from Gothenburg to Åndalsnes, near Trollstigen
- Renting a car and driving to a campground between Trollstigen and the scenic town of Geiranger
- Renting a tiny cabin at the campground for a couple of weeks
- Hanging out by the 2nd most beautiful river ever (?), which flows past the campground
- Driving to (and down and up) Trollstigen, then going to the viewing platform (etc) and feasting my eyes on the valley for hours
- Driving to Geiranger and feasting my eyes on its surroundings for hours
- "Swimming" in the aforementioned river
- Going for day hikes, if I can find any trails for non-elite hikers :B

At the end of the trip I dropped off the car keys aaaaaaand... realized that the only thing I had left in the car was the fucking air freshener. But no problem, I'd just call the rental shop the next morning, before they had time to clean out the car, right?! :D So I did, and asked them if they would please put the air freshener in their lost-&-found box. "Sure, we should be able to do that." I returned asap to pick it up... but it wasn't in the lost-&-found, or in the car, and the guy who had cleaned the car pretended he hadn't seen it. UM. SURE.
