Kisdon Force consists of two waterfalls, this one and the one in the background..
These photo's are all off an old back up hard drive, none of these photo's have been processed before. At the time of taking I took many shots, trying different settings, I posted some and others have just stayed dormant on my back up hard drive..

Skyline drive in May. The trees just about to turn green, nothing but warm days ahead, winter a fading memory, sigh...
I don't usually turn my long lens toward insects, let alone cars, but... Just as I was about to get into my car, I noticed a praying mantis striking a pose on the bonnet. Naturally, I couldn’t resist taking a few quick shots of my unexpected model before gently relocating him to a greener, more fitting backdrop.
There are about 100 praying mantis species in Australia—I have no idea which one this is.
Rode through Seaside, Monterey's Fisherman's Wharf and Cannery Row, Pebble Beach and its 17-Mile Drive, and Carmel.
I called it a day and managed to find a place for the night and a hot meal in Carmel.

Southern Iceland, 2022
Driving around Iceland is often like drawing a lottery. Sometimes it rains, sometimes the weather offers great photo opportunities. This time, I just leaned out of the window, using my phone a a camera, trying to catch the mood of our road trip.
I came upon this driving down the road near Mantua, Utah. When the Sheep Herder saw me he motioned me to follow him and he trotted through the sheep parting them like the Red Sea allowing me to drive through them.
Black Point Wildlife Drive traverses the salt marshes of Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. This is how it looks in winter, the "dry season". We always hope that there are a lot of birds to see and photograph.
I drive past this building every day. I love what happens to the shadows as the sun sets. I almost never have the right lens with me, though. Today, I did! I'm not real proficient at doing all of the settings with no guide (it's an old lens so you have to set everything manually -- which can mean a little trial and error). I can't wait for summer to practice more. 30 more days of school, I think?
Skyline Drive is the path through Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. There are great overlooks along the way to take in the landscapes -
Taken while cruising the back roads looking for owls. Those sticky things are marvellous for keeping stuff from sliding off the dash. Though this hasn't been tested in an emergency stop situation.
Calaveras Big Trees State Park.
There was once a time when you could drive your car through this tree. The tree is still alive, but it doesn't look too healthy. There are burn marks inside from wild fires, and there are only a few green branches up on top of it. Still, it's not everyday you get to walk through a tree!
