Since I had the wing-tip shoes I graduated college in, and was married in, I got them bronzed at Nieman-Marcus in Chicago. II decided to try it with the weather. Heee
Rain, rain go away!! Anyway, it gave me the chance, between showers, to grab a shot of one of our light bulb solar garden lights with a drip, drop!!

Thanks to everyone who views this photo, adds a note, leaves a comment and of course BIG thanks to anyone who chooses to favourite my photo .... Thanks to you all.
This shot took a very long time to master, but I think in the end it was all worth it. Patience is not one of my virtues, but if you want to get a shot like this you will need it! That is a tie-dye shirt hanging in the background. Personally I love how the shirt in the background in blurry, but very clear though the droplet.
2 layers and some change poster made from an olde sketch.
being sent along with some preorders.
heartbeat beatdrip dripdrip splat.
moving on then.
My father was determined to get the peeing boy for the back yard. Which, beyond the general absurdity of having a little sprite peeing out back, would have been all the more absurd with the pooch drinking from the stream. In the end, I convinced him to go with the sweetheart and the conch.
Such a lovely story, but this photo is sadly quite terrible.
... and wet.
This might go with this shot considering the colours:

... until I can properly work on some proper green properly. That up there? Filler green.
More fiddling. Stop that, guttermind.
There is much green which needs proper work, btw.
Those who know me in Sydney will be amazed to hear that I have voluntarily traversed the Greenwich foot tunnel twice a day most days since I got here. Somehow the whole weight of the Thames bearing down on a 100-year old tunnel doesn't scare me half so much as the whole weight of Sydney harbour bearing down on a brand new tunnel. I don't think this makes sense, but not going to analyse it now as I need to get back to the Isle of Dogs and don't want to be paralysed with fear halfway through :-)
Wheeeeeee, looks it's our garden!
And while I was doing this some water dropped out and my shirt got all wet :(

30 Days of Lists: March 4: Today's Playlist
I decided to do my own take on this list. I listen to music almost all day, everyday...too much to record. And so on Friday, I took the time to pay attention to the sounds of life around me, sans music.
"The hum of the heater next to the bed, the whistle of the tea kettle, the dripdrip of the coffee maker, the taping of the computer keyboard, the clamor of voices at the restaurant, the silence of the night broken by cars on the road."
Just used tech pen on this page.
30 Days of Lists: March 5th: Weekend Goals
"Clean the house, buy groceries, no more crying, relax, work on secret project, photo tips for monday, guest post, relax. "
I didn't clean the house, but I did the rest of it!
Used watercolor crayons, tech pen and a hand carved stamp by me.

Finally had some time to use my SB-600 to take some drip shots. I've tried before with just the built in flash but its no where near as good as an external. It got kind of messy so I would recommend doing this where you can get stuff wet. Would also keep a cloth nearby for your lens...it will get wet.
Another from the recent ice series I have been posting. Here liquid water runs down the bottom of an icicle which is wrapped around the branch of a dogwood tree.
Taken 16 April 2012 in Duluth, MN. Recommended in Lightbox.
If I could have seen more of the color blue in the Seattle sky, it would officially have been the perfect city.
While there IS a lot of fog in SF, I still see more blue skies than I did in Seattle.
Its going to be a different winter for sure.
Good friend is on her fall break from Medical school, so she is coming up to visit today.
I am excited.
We are doing geeky things.
Like drinking at the Academy of Sciences.
