I met Drew McAdam in 2010, the first time I worked as the photographer for the Edinburgh International Magic Festival. It was a joy to see him wow an audience again with his skills, which are so refined that he appears really to be reading minds. He is photographed here in the beautiful Lauriston Castle on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

Straight shot. The litter in the tree drew me to take this photograph though it plays a very tiny part in the overall image. I guess the use of the snow in High Key style sort of makes this for me.
