This was the first time ever experiencing a halocline. The fresh and salt water layers interacted but did not quite mix. It was like looking through oil. Everything was a little blurry, but I didn't realize how blurry until looking at the pictures.

So in love with the little fishes swimming through pulling light

I'm all of three feet behind my dive buddy and she was blurry. Being there, everything felt clear, or at least understandable. The camera says otherwise.

Beautiful little "dry" section in the caverns. The stalactites are still growing as fresh lime stone is deposited by water dripping down them. The hard ceiling was at most 2 feet overhead. Thousands of pencil sized grows reached down.

Finally found some clear water. One of the very few from this dive.

The halocline is so intense it's hard to tell there is a person in this photo. Only 8 feet from the camera.
