At Parks Alive on July 25th, 2022, the Dream Bus hosted special guests Martinez "Pops" and Harlem "Son" White for Think Like a DJ: Varsity Program, a Ripple Project program. There was DJing, a rap game and a graffiti contest! Contest winners earned earn prizes and all participants received a copy of the Think Like A DJ coloring book by Martinez and Harle.
This event also included the MSCR Fit2Go van, the Madison Reading Project, and screening of a Sina Davis Movie in the Park - Jungle Cruise - at 6pm.
Parks Alive is a collaborative effort across multiple City departments and involves many community-based stakeholders and mobile resources. Parks Alive is a great opportunity for residents to come out to local parks, build community, strengthen relationships, and have fun!

The Dream bus made stops at the MSCR Summer Camp, offering books and crafts to patrons. The Dream Bus visited dozens of parks, schools, and other places in the community to help us get kids reading over the summer. Photos by Library staff.
