Started each of the four pieces with a wet brush full of cold coffee. Then I drew with the pencil fast into the wet colour. After ten minutes they were done and I could sleep quite well. All what I had done before went to the trash :)

"Cherries"
Yesterday I saw the first cherries offered in a supermarket. Unbelievable that we get cherries now already in may.
"Tired self"
Right now my work doesnt give me much time to draw or go out. So here´s a little quick sketch in a cigarbox which feature a bit of my tired self.
Piece of triangular cut wood I found on the ground outside of my office. Took a wood burnig tool to it (first time!) and this is what I came up with. I figured a "forest" of birch trees would be somethig easy to try out my first time with a burning tool...

Wayne Thiebaud, great colorist. He was the one who said "Everyone is an artist nowadays, but when you're a painter, you've got something to prove"
