The sunset and the clouds look rather dramatic this moment. So I took a shot. This week we had lovely and warm spring weather but for tomorrow the forecast is for cold and wet weather, maybe it will get even sleet.

The Columbia Basin rr climbs out of Connell battling the grade up to where it begins to plateau. The weather of spring in the Columbia Basin bringing a range of storms and sheet rain that can be seen miles away.
The classic wooden elevator and bins sit quiet among the howling winds and abundance of tumbleweeds sticking along the tracks.

Another dramatic image from a stormy sunrise session with friend and fellow flickr photographer Paul Hollins a couple of weeks ago at Merewether Beach, NSW; Australia.
As you can see - the sky almost fell on top of us as a Southerly squall moved onto the coast fast!

Most of the sky to the north, south, and east was cloudy..However, as I was driving home, I noticed to the west that the sun came out and the clouds turned red and pink.. You can see the sun at the very back in the middle of the tree silhouettes.
I stood in the middle of the street and had to move quickly as a car was coming my way ! ; )
