I have often wandered what sunset and sunrise looked like from within the Temple at Mussenden. It was Earl Bishops Library built right on the cliff tops with windows primed for those views. it must have been something to sit there and look out at the magnificient vista's from his no doubt highly decorated bureau...
Shot through a tumble down part of the Mourne wall at the summit of Slieve Commedagh now facing the setting sun and Slieve Beg and Cove Mountain, Slieve Corragh visit www.glensumnerphotography.com for more
After climbing up the shadowed side arriving around this tor on the summit of Slieve Bearnagh at the peak of the best of the light of that sunset this was what I was able to keep, to remember that moment. It was a warm and windless night and the midges had left me alone now that I was at the summit (eaten alive on the way up!). Now just to navigate my way back down in the dark! Managed to get the worst steep part done in twilight so then head lamp and follow the trail back to the car. When I was nearly back I saw another headlamp and found a man who was having to move his tent due to 4 over interested Highland cattle! Much higher up or in the campsite next time pal! www.glensumnerphotoraphy.com
A panorama from a isolated beach near Kirkjufell mountain, another scene where Iceland gives you almost a monochrome vista and there in there will be be some incredibly green moss almost like an invading organism... www.glensumnerphotography.com
