Puff the Magic Dragon

Es war viel los im Drachenland, da wurde gekämpft an allen Ecken und Spalten, wie man hier sehen kann. Eindringlinge wurden konsequent angegriffen und verjagt. Es war interessant als auch spannend das zu beobachten und bildlich festzuhalten. Meistens haben sie sich so in einander verbissen, dass sie durch ihre schnelle Bewegungen von der Mauer fielen und am Boden weiterkämpften. Was natürlich für mich zum fotografieren gar nicht gut war! ;-))

There was a lot going on in the Dragonland, there was fighting in every nook and cranny, as you can see here. Invaders were consistently attacked and driven out. It was interesting as well as exciting to observe this and capture it figuratively. Most of the time they were so tight that they fell off the wall and fought on the ground with their fast movements. Which of course was not good for me to take pictures!

A little known but extremely beautiful corner of Snowdonia National Park, shot back in August. This is a special place that is far from the hoards in the towns and cities and photographically is only known by a few.

Another shot I've been toying with for a while. There was an area of reedbed at RSPB Ham Wall that was literally crawling with newly emerged Four-spotted Chasers. By having out of focus chasers in both the fore and back ground I hoped to catch a sense of the sheer numbers that were there.
