Draft: My Very First Pano

With the lack of NFL Draft news currently, we’ve begun our player profiles. Nick Lamattina looks at NFL Draft prospect Kenneth Gainwell. profootballmag.com/featured/2021-nfl-draft-kenneth-gainwe...

I hadn't known about this, either: seven Heart Mountain resident were convicted of conspiracy for encouraging men not to register for the draft until their freedom was restored. In all, 300 men were convicted of failing to register. The organizers' convictions were reversed on appeal, and the rest were pardoned in 1947. I suspect Jimmy Carter had this precedent in mind when he pardoned Vietnam-era resisters.

So, early draft just to show the idea and get critique as early as possible. I wanted to try an isometric look.

The skyscraper in the background is not isometric yet, as you can probably see.

I dunno if the scale is clear enough.

I dunno what to do with the colours, they're kind of just all over the place right now.

The cubeman is just chilling in his placeholdery way. I want him to be scaled to one ninth the size of the skyscraper, and I think I might change the angle so we see the objects from above. And maybe change the scale to be isometric too.

This is how Kama's photo will look on the canvas. I knew there was a good chance it wouldn't be in the middle (which it isn't), but again, I wanted an idea how her photo would look on the 8 x 8 canvas.

Drafts from when I was on a project for making a logo for the urban lifestyle clothing brand. The drafts where made in illustrator and made by trying different fonts, symbols, placements, strokes and just exploring the different opportunities to make the correct logo.
