Despite the wet, cloudy weather and a few pesky mosquitoes, Dozer and I are excited to head out for our hike and check the trail cameras! We've got some effective mosquito wipes that my husband swears by; even if Dozer isn't a fan, I know they help him a lot. With the wind picking up and a chance of rain this afternoon, I'm so glad we chose to get outdoors this morning. Now we can relax inside, sipping our favorite drinks, and enjoy the peaceful sound of the rain falling outside! It's going to be a wonderful day!

I captured this video of a very cute red squirrel falling a sleep in the late afternoon sunshine. It made me laugh when it woke up with a start. :)
