- Started with a photo of a mural in a clothing store on Valencia street and ran it through #DotCamera. The mural consisted of several brightly colored lines drawn horizontally along the wall of the dressing room.
- created with DotCamera. I've had this app on my iPhone for weeks, but I totally forgot about it until this morning. It's really awesome for #appsperiment stuff, so expect to see it in the next few #daily_appsperiments.
This started off as a picture taken with the TrueHDR camera app, which someone was cool enough to show me at last night's Instameet, but then I remembered I wanted to mess around with DotCamera some more. So I took the her pic, ran it through DotCamera once, then rotated the original (using Camera+) and ran it through again. Then I brought the original, horizontal, and vertical images together using the Juxtaposer app. The idea was to have a different effect for the foreground, the tagged wall, and the sky. To answer your question: yes it was a bit of work :)
Daily App Experiment #368 "Try Bros" - a shot of my former Tribal Games co-workers in front of the Golden Gate Bridge. Taken with #hipstamatic then I used #ShockmyPic & #dotcamera to create two different versions. I used #filterstorm to have those two image transition to each other. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment
Daily App Experiment #104: "Squared" - started with an image in the #Percolator app, then ran it through #Symmetry for a mirrored effect. Then I ran it through #DotCamera for the pixel effect. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment
Daily App Experiment #105: "WWWWTF?" - I took the same photo of one of #Eine's letter murals and fan it through four different apps; #percolator #DotCamera #Phototropic & #HalfTone. I then arranged the images with #Diptic. #appsperiment #daily_appsperiment #Instabet #w
Taken with Hipstamatic (John S, Pistil, Laser Lemon Gel),
first version processed in CameraBag (Silver),
second version processed in CameraBag (Infrared),
first version processed in DotCamera (6, 32),
both versions combined in DXP (Overlay).
Taken with iPhone 2G, stitched using AutoStitch, edited with TiltShiftGen, DotCamera (which kills the resolution, sadly - it's even smaller than a normal 2G photo), and DXP Free (which also reduces resolution, but not nearly as badly). Makes me want to write my own apps to do those effects and save in full res!
Edited only on my iPhone.
This comparative image was made on my iPhone also. Not too shabby, isn't it?
(iPhone Camera + PhotoPict + TiltSift Generator + BestCamera + ImageBeforeAfter)
Like the previous one, sadly very low-res. Taken with iPhone 2G, stitched with AutoStitch, edited with DotCamera, DXP, and TiltShiftGen.
