Unlike years past, some of the best birds from this visit to the Devils River popped up in the trees and shrubs above and adjacent to the large deck overlooking Dolan Falls. Sitting with friends, enjoying a cool one, and catching sight of locals such as this White-eyed Vireo; no wonder bird watching is one of the world's most popular hobbies.

I shot this through the windows of this building on the new LG G4 smartphone, but I made some adjustments in Lightroom, so I dropped resolution on the result when I saved it.
Located in the Mojave Desert, it is primarily known as a quiet, rural community and a gateway to the Grand Canyon Skywalk and the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
