This is one of the locations where I feel the power of great architecture.
Here I enjoyed beautiful reflection as well as the impressive skyline of Doha city.
Most interesting part is the arches. Some pigeons are folding their wings to survive the hottest season in the Gulf.

Doha, the capital of Qatar, is a modern city located on the bay of Doha in the Persian Gulf. It surprises the contrasts, of futuristic buildings, with the classic style of the area. A contrast to the max, where they fuse progress with the past. A place to know, but with things that need to change as is the market for animals where they have in really small cages, many living animals crammed in poor conditions.
In the shot, the old market with the police going through it.

I finally managed to process my HDR/panorama raw material of the Doha Skyline, here's the result. It's a pitty that flickr does not offer an interactive panorama viewer, do you have any hint on this topic?
BTW: Original image size is ~70 megapixels!
PS: Getty Editors: There is also a "traditional" version of this panorama, i.e. very wide format without repetitions. Please tell me which version is preferred!

Hamad International Airport is the sole international airport in the nation of Qatar. Located south of its capital, Doha, it replaced the former Doha International Airport as Qatar's principal airport. Formerly known as New Doha International Airport (NDIA), Hamad International Airport was originally scheduled to open in 2009, but after a series of costly delays, the airport finally opened on 30 April 2014 with a ceremonial Qatar Airways flight landing from nearby Doha International.
