Created this for the Dogwood Challenge Week 10 - Perspective. It was suggested that we try a "Forced Perspective". I have been lucky to come up with at least 2 for each challenge so far, but I am not sure if it is going to happen with this week or not. We are allowed 4 shots for each week, the problems is going up with 4 different ideas.
Perspective for the purpose of this challenge is the relationship of objects in the scene. If you really want a challenge this is a good chance to use forced perspective.

Had no time to really indulge in the challenge this week, photo taken with my HTC. Photo taken just at the entrance to Edinburgh castle.
#WEEK10Story (Perspective) Really struggled for ideas this week, so I turned to the kids for inspiration / help, these are 2 of my favourate shots that they came up with (just as well they are posers :) )

For this challenge I used a little bit of forced perspective and the illusion created by the clouds.
Whilst clouds can be interpreted in many ways, in this image I have let my mind imagine that I am holding a frog up to block out the rays of the afternoon sun.
Unfortunately I had to shoot with what I had at the time which was my phone, so the image quality is average but I guess you get the idea of what I was trying to do.......and if you don't...then I guess one of us is crazy.....haha.

Dogwood week 10: Perspective
This perspective challenge was pretty hard. I feel the story in here is pretty weak. Or at least not the one I wanted to tell.

CC very much welcomed.
This picture was taken for week 10 of the Dogwood 2017 weekly photography challenge. The challenge was "Week 10 Story: Perspective". I think this perspective is one we are all familiar with, looking down the viewfinder. My camera phone worked pretty well as a macro lens. The picture I ended up taking is also on my page.

Instead of using selective color to focus on the subject, I tried to divert attention from it. On one hand, there are the fallen leaves among the fresh violet flowers, heralding the long-awaited spring, and there's an ugly spider on of the leaves. I've chosen two colors to emphasize, and tried to subtract the colors of the not-so-positive things.
