Many of the dogs at the Pasadena Humane Society hung back in fear, which was pretty heart breaking to see. But this little guy was only too eager to come say hello. I would have taken him home on the spot, if I could have. He just had that certain thing about him that said "I'm yours."
I was there on assignment for Dog's Life Magazine - to photograph an officer, not the animals. But who can walk by faces like these and not want to photograph them? Not me, that's for sure.
