Kennedy and K2, my beautiful German Shepherds, seem to enjoy sunsets as much as I do. Especially sitting at the dock on the bay. They always welcome the chance to sight large fish, but especially dolphins. Kennedy and K2 had rushed to the dock ahead of me, but came back quickly when I did not show up immediately.
On this winter weekend, I actually took four separate photos. They were timed just right to compose this panorama of the stunning sunset on Tampa Bay at Apollo Beach without the dogs showing up in 2 frames. Lucky/dog/shot.

The incredible foggy morning on Tampa Bay today was something to savor. I had my iPhone camera ready for whatever interesting visual would transpire. I knew it would turn out to be a unique moment.
A surreal scene. The sky, sea, and sand blending into one made the perfect backdrop. It starkly silhouetted my two German Shepherds.
You can see Kennedy on the left watch playful K2 approaching him from the right. I clicked just as it seemed like a staring showdown, starting shenanigans.

Fun beach evening watching the sunset with my daughter and our dog. Dog was so happy to run and "almost fetch". He still doesn't understand that he is supposed to bring the stick all the way back to us. He thinks bringing it within 15 feet is good enough. I guess he has us trained.

K2, my two years old German Shepherd Dog, believes that his common German heritage with my once supposedly-fancy car gives him the right to treat it like an open entertainment play cage. That’s how the Mercedes Benz S65 V12 AMG’s limited “designo” white leather and black wood under his claws turn into a GSD-in-Oh K2 OMG black, white, and brown fur-covered perch for him to look around over the sunroof. Kennedy, the older GSD, was thankfully peacefully watching the world out the rear passenger window. But even his fur still is probably also permanently fused inside the hand-built engine’s titanium rods. 😂😂

Always Awake, Alert & Aroused Kennedy & K2 Arrive For 2nd Shared Hotel Experience After 2.5 Years, After 12+ Hours Drive - IMRAN™
It was a spring night two and a half years ago when the two months old GSD puppy, K2, first met met his soon to be older brother, my unknown-age rescued German Shepherd Dog Kennedy, in a hotel lobby where he was delivered to me. Kennedy and I had driven most day to go get him as soon as K2 was turning 8-weeks old. You will love seeing the pictures of that first meeting.
Since then I have been wanting to take both dogs on another road trip but one thing after another meant the years were flying by. Finally, after we were blessed not to get directly hit by Hurricane Ian, the dogs and I hopped in the car and off we went.
Normally a 10-hours trip, but with it taking literally 3 hours to get from Apollo Beach to Ocala merely 100 miles away, it was 12.5 hours (including several breaks along the way) before we got to the hotel.
It was well past midnight. I had asked for a suite with late check-in. Despite that exhausting trip you can clearly see both my dogs were as always awake, alert, aroused, and absolutely delighted.

K2 (& Kennedy) Consider Duck Hunting Opportunities On Tampa Bay Beach Florida - IMRAN™
K2 and Kennedy were very interested in exploring duck hunting, or at least bird chasing, opportunities when we walked back home this morning. K2 even started looking at stepping down options along the seawall rocks.
I stopped them. I also managed to take a picture of them on the upper rocks, as well as this one. K2, wistfully gazing at the ducks.
But don’t “jump to conclusions”…. The story didn’t conclude there…. !
