Loving the snow and all things cold.

My nephew, his wife and baby Ireland are here visiting. The SpooCrew and friends have never been around a baby. The dogs are fascinated with her........and have found they have some Things in common.

1) They like picking stuff up off the floor and eating it.

2)They like chewing on their toys.

3) A nap is prerequisite before attempting any activity.

4) There is nothing like looking out the front door and wondering what it would be like to run free and explore wherever you wanted to............

(I know the computer case and the box are a major distraction........but it is my life...as I am capturing it)

Sunday is the most dangerous day, especially when it’s Sunny!

The beach can be full of people, not the ones who wanna shoot me with the camera…

And there can be hidden guards…

So we must hide ourselves and watch every corner…luckily there are not so many corners at the beach…

From sunrise to midday, and then in the evening the darkness helps us…

Today I even hurt my foot with a iron thing left in an inappropriate way from the men who work in a construction site near the pier…the beach is dangerous and they look at my collie!!

Bah!!!!!

Have a safe day!

Dogs of war and men of hate

With no cause, we don't discriminate

Discovery is to be disowned

Our currency is flesh and bone

Hell opened up and put on sale

Gather 'round and haggle

For hard cash, we will lie and deceive

Even our masters don't know the webs we weave

One world, it's a battleground

One world, and we will smash it down

One world ... One world

Waahooo.....let's chasing those little birds!!!

Couldn't resist shooting this 'street art'. Outside a bungalow in Kilchoan are these dogs made out of fishermen's yellow boots (proper fishermen always wear yellow boots to match their yellow capes and sou'westers). But aren't these clever? And the welly flower pots too?

... or African Wild dogs, or .... many names.

A highly intelligent and social animal who collectively take care of the old, injured and very young members of their pack.

Once not so long ago, they roamed over most of the continent but are now an endangered species, mainly found in parts of Southern and Eastern Africa

Always a good day when the Snow Dog comes to visit :)

We had nearly a foot of snow overnight, melting already but fun while it lasted. We couldn't walk too far as the little ones struggled, even the pavements were above my boots!

My friend's new puppy is quite a ham :))

As promised, some puppy play photos.

I came across these cuties waiting for their walker yesterday on Beacon Street.

I don't normally get personal on my Flickr but today, my dog Aspen sadly passed away due a tumor.. I've had him since I was 6 years old so to see him finally pass away from heartbreaking for me... especially since I've known him for a long time. You'll always be missed, Aspen.. and I'll always remember you.. thank you for all the good times you've given me..

He loves riding with me

These two were loyally following their leader as he ran back and forth along the river bluff calling to a group of four wild dogs on a river island.
