That's me at the Dodge Ram Challenge event that took place last Fall in North Highlands, close to where I live in Sac. I went by myself but had a ball. I got to test drive Dodge Ram quad cabs and compare them to the competitors...Ford, Toyota, Nissan, and Chevy. The Dodge was by far the best. That truck was soooo comfortable and nice! Wish I won it in the raffle. But I really wanted the Challenger. They didn't let us drive that..darn!

The Jackass Fire was started by lightning on July 17, 2006. It burned 6,225 acres and took a week to control. This photo was taken above the Arrowhead Mine, looking west toward the Sierra Nevada crest. Haze in the picture is from wildfires burning in California.

The overall design is attractive, with multiple colors and textures (unlike the GM trucks), but not overstyled like the Tundra. Materials quality is among the best found in this class, with nicely textured low-sheen plastics that look durable.

This Started Out As An American Service Station In The Late 1960's. Then, It Became An Amoco In The Mid 1970's. Later On, It Became A Chevron Station. After That, This Station Became A Citgo. Then, In 2009, This Station Closed Down. In 2017 Or 2018, This Station Reopened.

At Some Point, The Service Bay Of This Station Was Remodeled Into Convenience Store Space.

The Original Tall Sign, A 2 Pole V-Style (Like The One In Caledonia and Shorewood), Was Taken Down When A More Modern Chevron One Replaced It.

Earlier in the week, I saw a report on the news where a petite woman managed to fit herself into the Ram Box on the side of the truck bed.
