Social Murmurs is a socially-aware portable bench surface. As visitors sit on the bench sounds are produced demonstrating, or sometimes dictating their emotions. This project developed out of an interest in reactions from others in varying degrees of personal space while in a public setting.

these wings are from a barn owl, roadkill, in the central valley of CA. I spread and pinned them to a board and am going to pack them in salt and rice to preserve them. They will go into a sculpture once they stop smelling so bad.

My first Sable Clubtail and quite the exciting moment. A long day of searching for odes. We spent the last couple hours in Dorchester County, Maryland. Wading a small sandy stream I spotted this little dragon on a leaf. Verified by Odonata457 I believe this is a new county record. I never imagined I'd ever get one with all the Ode experts around...but I can only claim half since he did the identification :)

The San Luis National Wildlife Refuge is located approximately 100 miles southeast of San Jose, CA, and will serve as the Administrative Headquarters and Visitor Center for the San Luis National Wildlife Refuge Complex. Designed by my company– CATALYST ARCHITECTURE of Prescott Arizona, this state-of-the-art facility features a 55Kw roof-mounted photovoltaic array, SIPs (structural insulated panels), a wheathered steel skin, timberframed lobby, and operable clerestory windows for natural daylight and ventiliation.

To help 'tell the story' of the San Luis Refuge, our multi-disciplinary design team sought to integrate several key concept themes (design references) unique to the San Luis Refuge into the new facility's architectural design and site development. These include: the wood framed and and metal-clad agrarian structures of the California Central Valley- expressed in the building's Main Lobby and its weathered steel skin; the shapes of birds in flight- symbolized by the upward reaching roof-lines of the Administration Wing's seven 'roof monitors'; and by the broadly curving shapes of the facility's site development- referencing the 'oxbows' (those arch-shaped water remnants, evidence of the San Joaquin Rivers historically changing course over time).

Our design and engineering team is currently preparing documentation for an anticipated LEED-Platinum certification through the USGBC. When certified, the building will be the highest performing facility within the USFWS operations. The 17,000 sq.ft. Administrative HQ & Wildlife Interpretive Center is expected to be a Less-Than-Zero structure– meaning the facility has been designed to contribute more energy than it consumes.

We left a note begging for these books not to be thrown out as old junk

Unfortunately there is no documentation on this project. So in a few words ...

3D Scenes can be loaded in the application and animated in realtime. The content was projected on long layers of transparent material in an old beer brewery in Vienna.

These are the first pictures taken with my new&improved LUMIX camera. Much better video and optical zoom that goes to 60x! Sorry for what seems to be duplication…I was trying out the burst capability ;-)

About my pictures:

Since 2014 I've been documenting the daily, destructive, poisonous chemtrail activity in the Dayton, Ohio area -- home of the notorious Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (visited by every important person on Earth, and even a few Aliens ;-) -- and apparently from my photo and video documentation, Chemtrail Central. This area has been getting chemtrailed on a massive, daily basis and is being conducted, as they say, “in plain sight”. I've got over 10,000 high-resolution pictures already uploaded and available for free on Flickr, with thousands more on the way:

www.flickr.com/photos/133042043@N04/albums

Additional Chemtrail videos may be found on:

www.youtube.com/user/BlueRidgeParkway

I am designating all my chemtrail pictures uploaded to Flickr as CC0 (Creative Commons Zero), which removes my copyright and releases them into the Public Domain. They are archived on Flickr under "Chem Trailchaser". I hope by making these images widely available, it will accelerate interest, research, study and more documentation from all over the world. Please, download, copy, backup, mirror, share, use and improve as many of these photos as you can! Thanks for looking - Chem

WHO ARE WE AND WHAT DO WE DO? Glad you asked...

First office hours we hosted in the new Viewer 2 era! =)

I needed to take a few shots for our designer for an illustration!

Before any conservation treatment took place, the team carried out extensive documentation of the Jefferson Bible. This included microscopic analysis, photographic documentation, written documentation, and historical research. The team uncovered as much information as possible about the way Jefferson created the volume, as well as how the bookbinder took Jefferson's loose pieces of paper and constructed them into a book.

I've been watching these European Hornets the last few weeks as they bang into every other insect on the flowers (or so it seems). Today this hornet actually captured this American Copper butterfly and carried it up higher to a nearby tree limb. A few seconds later I saw what I thought was the butterfly come floating passed me, I thought it got away, but it turned out to be just one butterfly wing floating on the breeze. You can't see much in this shot, but I post it to remember the first time I've seen the hornet capture it's prey.
