In the center with the gray body and brown head is a Pink-footed Goose hanging with a flock of Canada Geese. The Pink-footed Goose is far from home. It breeds in eastern Greenland, Iceland and Svalbard. It is migratory, wintering in northwest Europe, especially Ireland, Great Britain, the Netherlands, and western Denmark. Found in Bucks County PA. The pic was taken really far away and late in the day with bad light.
Thank you for viewing. If you like please fav and leave a nice comment. Hope to see you here again. Have a wonderful day 😊

There was a photo guide photographer out at Caddo Lake the same morning I was there with a documentary photographer "DPH" accompanying. The DPH was in my frame with some great light, so I documented her. There was some pretty severe lens flare on this shot which was removed to the best of my capabilities. Caddo Lake, Texas, USA, October 2022

The question stands; why would this picture be different from a Real Estate advertisement?
Both would show a structure in an uncritical manner. The difference being -- a Real estate 'document' photo has an intent of use while a 'documentary' style New Topographics photo is a useless image. This is not semantics, but a purpose of use by the photographer at the time of making the image.
reference; Szarkowski.
Plus, "In a NT picture one cannot understand the structure without understanding the landscape and conversely."
Addendum: it is difficult for me to comprehend and subsequently digest the idea of ‘useless’ pictures being worthy of inclusion into the New Topographics genre. But I acquiesce to photography historians who are well adept in this field.
Documentary style vs. Document photo. Because it is a 'useless' image it falls into the 'documentary style' category of photography.
I present this picture to regain favor in the New Topographics community. Especially after the expressive subjectivity "stagecraft" of my previous two photos.
Anyone who saw Neil Oliver's documentary on Orkney may recognise this location - a small abandoned island, last inhabited over 40 years ago. I was fortunate to be able to visit with a friend who is a relative of the owners.
Not the easiest of locations to get to, our trip turned into a bit of an adventure. The landing was awkward, due to swells of the waves, but we had an enjoyable time roaming the island for a couple of hours with one of the island's owners while the fishing boat went about its business. When it came time to get back onto the boat, the swells were much more severe. We tossed our rucksacks into the boat, but it was deemed too dangerous for us. The boat backed off, then one of the fishermen decided to throw the rucksack containing all our food and water back to us as they had no idea when they might be able to come back. Very sadly, that rucksack containing a camera, wallet and our food and drink, landed in the swells and was swept out to sea, no chance of recovering it - the owner of the rucksack was understandably very distraught! We were then faced with the very real possibility of having to spend the night on the island, with no food or even the most basic of comforts, only one of the old cottages still has a reasonable roof. Fortunately, after a couple of hours, the swells did subside a little and we were finally able to return to the boat with some difficulty. As the weather was forecast to worsen later that day, we might have been well and truly stuck...and very hungry!
Hopefully this image captures the haunting moodiness of the island. Other than seabirds, the only inhabitants now are a small herd of feral cattle that manage to survive the harsh conditions.

A young man inspects the engine of a finely-restored MG from the late 1950s, lacking only the correct factory-style steering wheel to be perfect in my eyes! Seen in Galway Ireland at the annual classic car meet.
France, Alsace, Colmar, X-Mas in Colmar, at the end of the year, at Christmas time Colmar turns into a small town like in a fairyland & when it has snowed, one cannot wish for more in a wonderland.
The “jewellery box” among Alsatian cities founded by the Franconian, the first documentary evidence of the town goes back to the year 823 AD. In spite of the many wars over central Europe in the last centuries, Colmar could preserve its beautiful historic centre of the mediaeval town.

Russians losing their war in Ukraine and losing badly. Nuclear terrorism did not work out for them at Chornobyl and they want to play the same game at Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, which is much bigger than Chornobyl. It is so unfortunate that we have to share out the beautiful planet with such idiots...
