The harbour of Ostend, in Belgium used to consist of 2 welcoming piers, like arms...
That is what I grew up with, but these are now documents
This one, on the Easter side has been demolished.
So much part of my youth
Thank you, M, (*_*)

This is my all time favorite, makes me laugh every time I read it. Oddly I'm reminded of the Jim Goldberg photo from "Rich & Poor" of a man and woman hugging and smiling at the camera, baby crying on the bed beside them and the caption, written in the woman's hand, reads "me and Bobby been together for two weeks and we're still happy," which leaves a sane person not knowing whether to laugh or cry.

It's 7.00pm. I've just got home from work, drenched through from the rain.
James is cooking dinner tonight (horrah!!)
Pajamas on.
Feet up.
Good book.
The Island had me captured from the first chapter. :)
I took this because of the refraction thru the shadow man's glasses.
This was during the eLearning day, ahead of MAX. The software featured was Breeze, Captivate, Flash, and even Authorware and PowerPoint(?!). Conspicuously absent was my favorite eLearning development app, one I spent many years authoring in: Hypercard. No, wait, that's not it, er, Director.
Sixteenth photo uploaded for the March Project; done with two of my best friends :D here are theirs:
Really sorry for being late I took it a while ago,, but in the same day :P
So I'm reading Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets these days. It's soooo much fun my favorite series of all times <3
This part is one of this best parts of the movie when they found th cat hanging from its tail and found blood writings on the wall,,, Aaaaaaaaaa I wanna see the movie again and again and again and I can't count how many times I saw it. The best movies of mine from Harry Potter's are The Philosopher's Stone and The Chamber of Secrets <3

I'm inspired by beginnings.
A first page.
A new week. Month. Year.
A new goal.
A fresh possibility slowly coming into focus.
A start.
A do-over for no reason better than doing it over.
Grateful for beginnings. As many of them as it takes.

Met-up with Mart a couple of weekends ago at this simple but impressive folly which has been on the list for a couple of years. Just a simple shot using the LACE Backlight Scanner and some side lighting provided by Klarus XT11GT. Captured on Sony A7iii with adapted Olympus Zuiko lens 24mm f2.8.

Shrugging off the weather, the CP business train was on the Sabula draw bridge as the rain poured down and the Mississippi was on the rise. Also shrugging off the weather were the many photographers out chasing this thing.
Since the CP business train most likely will never have a GP20C ECO splitting a pair of FP9s again, this was a consist that required documentation.
And yes, Guss forged that water like a nimble ninja to perch himself on those slick rocks like a professional documentary photographer should.
makes me dizzy.
(I just finished all 4 books from the Twilight series and I can't believe how good they were! And just think only a mere week ago I had no idea about these books, only picking it up in the bookstore because the movie piqued my interest. I couldn't put them down! Is it possible to fall in love with a character in a book? If so, my poor husband doesn't stand a chance!)
