Reed's Crossing is where my cardiologist is now and they have lots of benches.. I've taken several but I think I will have some left for the next visit... Happy Bench Monday, Everybody!!!!
Leica M9, Leica Summaron 35mm f3.5. This isn't really the Doctor's Commons. It was demolished in 1867. This building (now abandoned) stands on the site. The Doctor's Commons was the headquarters of a legal society of lawyers practicing civil law.

Fresh out of the box this morning, Big Chief Studios' long-awaited Weeping Angel figure. Lovely sculpting and the parts all interchange neatly, easily and firmly. But some of the paint applications don't quite match up; the skirt especially seems to be lacking the final paint wipe & wash the body has. As yet (at time of writing I haven't seen any other photos of the production pieces) I don't know if this is a one-off or more common.

Class 923 Shinkansen is very rare train and another name is DOCTOR YELLOW.
This rail inspection train run to check railroad and overhead lines while running 280km/h from Tokyo to Hakata only one or two times per a month.

A concrete groyne extends into Lake Michigan under a dramatic, cloudy sky at Doctors Park. Waves crash around the structure, creating a dynamic and moody.
The day I took this photo, I found him with a pigeon in hand and a pair of scissors. He explained that pigeons easily pick up hair and other bits of string that get tangled in their claws and if it's not cleaned, the circulation gets cut off...they get infected...and then the bit of claw will drop off. When he sees that, he removes the string, and presto!...the manicure is complete.

As life has quickened it’s pace, there are problems. Expensive parking and you have to travel to the city also and if you go by public transport, it can be quite a walk up the hill behind Central Station, even if you catch the lift. It is one of the highest parts of the city.

Another mild and windless day, makes you wonder what nasty weather is coming :-) We paid a quick visit to Doctors Point beach just north of Dunedin this morning, it was beautiful there!
This use to be in my backyard while growing up in Seltjarnarnes, Iceland. This house was home to the first "national doctor" of Iceland, built in the late 1700s. I still live close by (less than 3 minute driving distance away) so it's a frequent stop for photography. Usually when I'm there I'm shooting in the other direction, the Grótta lighthouse for example. I will probably soon be moving away from this neighbourhood by the sea to the other side of Reykjavik, and I'll be having the mountain Esja (background in this photo) even closer. Stay tuned for countless close-up photos of the mountain in the future.
