The solace on New Year's Day at Doctors Park. A broken concrete pier extends into Lake Michigan's calm, turquoise waters, creating a sense of solitude and serenity. Pebbles on the shoreline contrast with the smooth surface of the water under a moody, cloud-filled sky.

It is important for researchers and doctors to understand more about how people camouflage, because camouflaging might make people unwell. For example, some studies have found that people who camouflage more also have more mental health problems, such as depression or anxiety. It is important that we learn more about why these mental health problems happen, so we can help people to feel better..." I find that we must reflect on the good and the bad that comes with autism. My experiences vary: I can be so happy and joyous that I will stim (reactions/movements that autistic people may do when there's a sensory overload or an overwhelming sense of joy or stress.) But then I can also feel very low and drained, this can be due to masking for a lengthy period of time; long social interactions and intense 1-1 situations- often with strangers. 💙

-

These opposite sides of the masking spectrum can be very varying and inconsistent. Now that I am aware of masking and how it is something I do, I worry about the implications from this; how will it affect me as I grow further into adulthood: building my own family and my business. Will I be happy, healthy and me? 💙

-

This photo is a portrayal of the conflict that comes with masking. How it feels to be in the centre of masking, particularly for a long period of time. You feel yourself doing whatever you can to successfully mask, to hide any autistic traits that people might judge. I often feel exposed when trying to mask, like I can't hide and am a witness to my own insecurities. 💙

K9!!!! The greatest Doctor character ever.

Yeah the make up of these pics started to fall apart once I'd started with the grouping and posing. So this one has a few extras.

Sixth - This is the other one that exists in real life, albeit with different hair. I'm actually really happy with this one, he's my secret favourite (don't tell the others).

Seventh - Like I said last time, the alternate theme started to fall apart pretty much as soon as I really got into making these guys. This one's pretty much just a more modern take on him.

Eighth - Another one who didn't undergo much change. Why am I even bothering with these guys again?

Eighth (Time War) - Been getting into Big Finish lately, so I thought I'd add in the Time War version of the Eighth Doctor, with added beard.

War - Like the actual one but sans beard and spiky hair. God knows why at this point.

And that's the lot. Keep an eye out for the rest I guess. Or don't I guess, you do you.

Hey, it's another infographic. Here's everything you've ever wanted to know about the Doctor, but were afraid to ask.

Once I'd finished drawing cartoon renditions of all eleven Doctors, I was trying to think of something else I could do with them. Suddenly the idea of an infographic sprung to mind. Armed with my moderate knowledge of Who-lore and trivia, I started typing up relevant factoids and arranging the Doctors on the page. Obviously you'll have to view the original size to read most of it.

I think this is the first time in my life I've ever drawn the TARDIS. It was surprisingly hard! It seems like it would be simple; after all it's just a blue box with some windows, but it was actually quite complicated, what with all of those little details and recessed panels and whatnot (and yes, it's been pointed out that I have the wrong number of window panes. I've fixed that on the revised version).

There's another Doctor Who infographic over here.

This piece took quite a while to finish. I worked on it a little at a time over several days. There was a lot of moving around of elements and much text editing to get everything to fit in an efficient manner. Hopefully there aren't too many glaring errors in the information.

I've had the grid system drilled into my head since design school, and normally I'm a devoted disciple of it. This time I said nuts to grids and just sort of let the design happen organically. I kind of liked it. I may start ditching the grid more often.

Laid out entirely in InDesign. All the Doctors were drawn in InDesign as well.

UPDATE: My little infographic just passed 150,000 views!!! Thank Kew, Internet!!!

UPDATE: Be sure and check out the REVISED AND UPDATED VERSION. All the mistakes that appear here have been corrected.

There's another infographic featuring the Doctor's enemies here.

I haven't photographed this guy nearly enough, and it was time to rectify that. So we dug out his cape and got to posing. He's really one of HT's finest. An absolute stunner.

This project has consumed my time and bricks for the past couple of months. It started out as an attempt to build a cam-driven TARDIS console and grew out of control. I packed in as many references as I could - do have a good old gander . . .
