my seven year old son made this - i love that he has been a Doctor Who geek his whole life and i love how creative he is with his lego <3

Very broadly speaking, you can divide Doctor Who in two; 'Classic Who' (comprising years 1963 till 1990) and 'Nu Who' (2005 till present).

But did you know there might be whole seasons of Doctor Who that you've missed?

Fox and the BBC attempted to revive the program in 1996 with a one-off TV movie starring Paul McGann as The Doctor. The movie didn't perform well and no series was produced...or was it?

Big Finish Productions, a company specialising in audio dramas convinced the BBC to let them have the license for Doctor Who and began producing new stories.

It's through these that I've come to enjoy McGann's portrayal as the Doctor to the extent that he may be becoming my favourite Doctor.

Dark Eyes see's him undertake a quest for the Time Lords to protect a young Irish Voluntary Aid Detachment, Molly O'Sullivan from the interests of the Daleks during World War 1, 2 and beyond.

For those of you out there who can't get enough Who, I can't recommend these enough. The stories are just as complex, exciting and fun as their TV counterparts and because your imagination provides the visuals, they are epic too.

So far all the surviving 'classic' Doctors have recorded adventures (BF's license forbids them from using Doctors 9, 10 & 11 so far although there are already rumours that something special is in the works).

They're great for long train rides and walks and they often put special offers on. So look out for them!

The Cybermen still seem superior at dying.

The lights in this restaurant kinda' resemble both Daleks and Cybermen.

Very colourful - well, it's the 70s! DVD cover artwork for the Pertwee adventure.

There's probably a corner of hell reserved for people who put too many overlapping circle motifs on these things.

Clockwork Droids from THE GIRL IN THE FIREPLACE menace passers-by at the Manchester Doctor Who Exhibition - March 2007

If it seems like they are recognizable, I'll probably go ahead and paint his hair white. i feel like it needs painting *and* flocking to look right. (?)

i'd also appreciate tips on her costume. it's more earthtones and less white because honestly i used up all my interesting white clothing on RiverSong. but i feel like it's too symmetrical or something.
