I've revisted this figure for some new shots, inspired by the recent stellar work from Flickr friends RDL and Johnson Cameraface.

Among the many quotes I learned to appreciated over the years there is one that have a very special meaning to me:

“I am, and always will be, the optimist. The hoper of far-flung hopes and the dreamer of improbable dreams.”

It comes from Doctor Who series and what makes it so special to me is it actually describes my own personality quite well.

I can really relate with it and the personal connection makes the quote special.

This photo is a tribute to that quote.

I paired up the Eleventh Doctor (the quote’s character) with Jyn because that quote sounds perfect for one of the greatest heroes of the Rebellion built on hope.

"I know these teeth"

What an episode that was eh? Shame David Tennent's return was leaked the minute it was decided, but apart from that, great episode. Bit all over the place (literally), but it was a fun watch.

Just thought I'd do some fleshing out for the Lounge Tardis Doctor, as she's starting to actually become a character to me now, instead of just a cool minifig combo.

So I've given her a companion, she's the one on the right. Not too sure about her name, I had Kamala in my head, but still undecided. I know nothing about her other than she likes a jumpsuit.

On the right is the Master, you might remember him from the last Tardis interior. Thought this version is the one that lives rent free in the Doctor's head. He's a ghost, a painful reminder of an event in the Doctor's past. As you can tell from his pose, he likes a drink, and often appears to the Doctor with a drink in hand.

As for the Doctor, she's a far future incarnation. She's seen a lot of evil, but also a lot of hope. But she shares a dark secret, one that haunts her in every waking moment. The guilt of the tragedies she couldn't prevent, namely the one in which the Master sacrificed himself to save...whatever was at stake in the particular event. She also has a botch job of a hair do, as Mecabricks doesn't have Gamora's hair piece.

And that's the lot. I might do more of these for the other Tardis interiors with Doctors that I've made over the years. So keep an eye out for those I guess.

Thought I'd hare this here so you good folks can have get a peak behind the curtain of this console unit. This is possibly some of my best work ngl.

Fell free to have a go at your own, just remember to give me a tag so I can see how you've used it :D

So this is something I threw together a while ago. My aim was to see how small a base I could build for a functioning time-rotor. About five bricks high, as it happens. This video shows the motion when powered by a motor put through a ton of gears to get it down to the right speed.

"Davros . . . . my name. . . is Davros. . . "

Davros's other creations

I'll change that if I can come up with anything better. I'm not even gonna try to do proper episodes, as it was a complete disaster last time I tried. So how about some fun minifig pics with the jist of a story in the description? A jist-isode if you will.

1974, Somewhere in Northern Germany.

"Something tells me this isn't the Trans-Siberian Express Doctor"

The Tardis materialises aboard a moving freight train carrying a dangerous cargo. But do those travelling with it pose more of a risk to the Doctor and Kamala?

"This is a secure transport, how the hell did you get on board?"

The pair are accosted by a Mr Anderson, a Torchwood Field operative. He is accompanied by his partner Camilla Braithwaite. The Doctor pretends she and Kamala have simply boarded the wrong train, as Torchwood are not people she wants to get involved with, not yet at least

"Target Within Range"

Meanwhile, a large crate is blown up from within, and from the fire emerges...

A Skovox series war droid!

It scuttles off down the train, blasting through doors and guards as it goes.

"Oh this isn't just any robot, this is a luxury model, the Skovox Eviscerator, top of the line in war-faring technology"

The Doctor and co encounter the SE, but have nowhere to run. They creep around the train, trying to come up with a plan to destroy the robot before it does something that the Doctor can't fix. Remember, this is Cold war Europe, the slightest mis-step could have devastating consequences.

"Torchwood always comes prepared"

The gang manage to trap the SE on the last train car, and disengage the coupling, causing the car to separate from the rest of the train. Camilla blows up the train car with an RPG, and the day is saved.

"They can't know I'm me, they're not supposed to encounter me for the first time for at least 30 odd years"

The Doctor and Kamala sneak back to the Tardis, and fly away to their next adventure. They don't know that Mr Anderson and Camilla are hot on their heels, and catch sight of the Tardis just as it's leaving.

And scene. If you liked this, please let me know, I may have more up my sleeve. I also may not, but I guess we won't know if you don't ask for more.

"Planet of the Ood" is the 3rd episode of the 4th series of British science fiction series Doctor Who.

With the new Dungeon & Dragons minifigures, I've immediately thought of this Doctor Who species.

I don't think I'm finished with this yet, but it's 2 am on Thanksgiving morning and I am going the hell to bed.

Tardis created using thyme, cloves, white pepper, fennel seeds and a cheeky cardamom pod

My sons favourite Doctor David Tennant .

It's Halloween, so I thought I'd do a spooky-special. This episode is inspired by what I read was an initial idea for the series 4 episode "Midnight".

The Doctor's dropped Kamala at her Grandad's house for the night. But after turning on the TV, Kamala is in for the shock of her life, in more ways than one.

2021, Birmingham

"Ghost or Hoax, you decide"

The Doctor tracks a strange energy reading to an unsuspecting house. She hears voices inside, and enters.

"If there's anyone there, give me a sign"

There's a camera crew inside, filming a man walking around with a microphone, asking questions, then pausing. The crew look tense. They've been live on air for 20 minutes already, and nothing.

"Isn't that your Doctor friend Kamala?"

Meanwhile, Kamala and her Grandad have sat down to watch a bit of telly. They settle on "Ghost Hunt UK" .Kamala is shocked to see none other than the Doctor, on the telly, talking to Arnold Peabody, Paranormal investigator.

"Ooh, how exciting"

Suddenly, things begin to levitate, throwing the crew into terror. They start screaming, all but one, Daniela, who excitedly starts taking pictures. When she looks at them, she sees a dark figure that wasn't there before.

"Where did you come from then?

The lights flicker and dim as a dark figure reaches out of the mirror. It reaches for something, and the Doctor realises what it wants. The statue on the table isn't just any statue, it's a Niderine Death figure, a statue capable of holding a beings consciousness, even after death. It has a large crack down the side, and the Doctor surmises that must be what's caused all of this, a spirit trapped in a strange environment, desperate to return to its vessel.

"Extra dimensional glue, never leave the Tardis without it."

The Doctor tells the spirit she'll fix the statue, and sort all this mess out, and even throw in a return trip to Niderin.

"What do you mean that wasn't you?"

The next day, Kamala asks the Doctor what went on at that house last night. The Doctor looks puzzled, and says she was in the Tardis all night.

Bit of a quick resolution, let's just pretend there's some filler bits in the middle. If you liked this, please let me know, I've got one more fully pictured, and another couple forming, so keep an eye out for that.
