I designed a series of bases for my figures in the 3¾“ to 4” range. I like the idea of taking all types of figures – action figures right out of the package, fast food premiums, Christmas ornaments, highly reworked customs, etc. – and displaying them on a common style base. This Doctor Doom figure from Hasbro’s “Titanium Series” hasn’t been altered in any way except that the base it came with has been cut down to fit my standard base design.
I think the first clash of DD and Iron Man was in Invincible Iron Man #74, 1975

There were 12 caricatures of Marvel super heroes and villains in this blind box series, but only 7 shown here – Spider-Man, Scarlet Spider, Venom, Iron Man, War Machine, Thanos and Doctor Doom! These cute little figures range in height from 1⅞” to 2⅛”. They are soft, one-piece, hollow vinyl.
The figures were made in Japan. The boxes measure 3” x 2½” x 1½” and carry the copyright “1996 MARVEL CHARACTERS, INC.” Manufacturing and distribution appear to be Elegant Way International and Worthfield.
Talk about being behind the times - isn't Victor Von Doom dressing more like Iron Man now? Maybe it's just Throwback Thursday or something.
