block 2 for the Comfort Circle June. I ran out of background fabric, hence the extra seam in the left upper corner....

Helas...not the best light to take a picture, but I have received all the blocks and I have machine quilted them in the ditch. I'm putting them together with a QAYG method.

I'm adding this shot and a few more to the Flickr "Do Good" group. This photo is two kittens that have been adopted through the SPCA of Southwest Michigan, located in Portage, Michigan. The SPCA is funded solely on donations and is one of the greatest rescue groups I have ever personally interacted with. They are a no-kill organization and they work hard to save every cat and dog that they possibly can. Besides being great with animals, they are very open, friendly people who allow and encourage volunteers to do jobs that fit them and to spend as much time as they can afford whether that's an hour a month or an hour a day. I can't say enough about this group.
This photo was taken at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum in April 2008. Because of the heavy development in Arizona, the natural home of the saguaro cactus is rapidly diminishing. The Museum is home to these cactus, and other flora, as well as desert animals. They are very responsible about the animals' comfort and care.

All the blocks have recently arrived and I haven't had much time but I've managed to play around with a few layouts. Loving the bright colors from my fellow Inspire circle mates

Doing good through our words and actions is not optional.

None of us either in our words or actions are perfect at doing good we constantly need the work of The Holy Spirit in our lives Who enables us to do good as Goodness is one of the Fruit of The Spirit.

Sometimes it's those within the church that can be horrible toward one another and treat those in and outside of the church very poorly as if that's acceptable.
_
People in the church will often leave due to being hurt, burned, and used up by those who should be building others up not tearing others down.
_
We are God's ambassadors and we need to get this right. We need to lead the way and be the example for those in and outside of the church.
_
Please view/listen to these 2 brief videos and then allow The Holy Spirit to work in your life convicting, equipping, and directing you to do good through your words and action for His Kingdom, Glory and everyone's good.
